Lagging means your game isn't catching up with the current state the game is at so it rushes to try and catch up, causing lag, or it just can't process what's happening

Rubberbanding is when your internet is too slow and so when it connects to the server to tell it what your doing, it's a step behind casuing the game to mix them up and you jump from forward to backward

Its incarnon effect has a spectral scythe that has an explosion that ignores LoS and has no follow through. That’s where a large portion of your dmg comes from because of how melee elementalist and smite mods apply to it

Gets thrown out on all light attacks iirc

Like I said even without talking about smite and elementalist on an explosion it hits 3 times for every normal attack. Thats broken on its own for an influence build. And it can trigger at infinite range.

so its not a "hit 3 times" its a hit x times based on enemy density

You misunderstand. For a single light melee attack hate has the swing. The spectral scythe and then the spectral scythe explosion. Each of these hits can proc electric and will work for influence. To ignore these extra attacks is pretty dumb for calculating dps

Nami solo is for sure 1 of the absolute strongest melee in the game cause of its follow through but hate beats it by simply having more instances of dmg per attack

Ok so for both melee. If there are 3 enemies. Nami solo will hit all 3 for 100% dmg. Hate will hit all 3 enemies 3 times. With 1 of those hits being a radial that hits every enemy around it. All this before it even takes into account influence. This gives the hate 11 hits to the nami solo having only 3

Wait not 11 only 9 my bad

Which means that unless the hate is doing less then a 3rd the dmg Nami solo is hate will inevitably do more dmg. Due to the radial explosion the dmg will scale exponentially as well. So adding more enemies to make Nami solo 100% follow through won’t work either

I will fully admit that I can’t claim that hate is the absolute top but I will stand by it easily being top 3 no contest

We also don’t know what build they are using and there is a decent chance that the build is not good

I will say I have spent far more time on hate incarnon then anyone else has. It is one of the most unique weapons in the game for several reasons

For 1 due to how its passive spectral scythe works a vast majority of its dmg comes from the radial explosion. Because the explosion has innate heat however it’s actually better to run blast or gas on it to maximize the electric damage. Due to its high status and the fact that it tripple hits blast is better because it can stack infinitely

On top of that it has no dmg fall off. As such enemies that are 50m away or more can be hit for a vast majority of the total dmg with spectral scythes

The problem is that for some reason, only some of my kills register

It doesn't reset until I touch the ground, but when you kill 50 enemies and only, like, 5 of them register, you're going to touch the ground eventually
