The main reason I don't play D2 much anymore has nothing to do with the content, it has to do with the miniscule vault space and the never ending deluge of "new" weapons and gear.

I don't get why MMOs change the starter quests to have less story. Elder Scrolls Online had an update at some point where they changed the Prologue quest so that you could skip to one of the starter areas-- or even one of the DLCs-- instead of starting the story (typically you wake up in oblivion, learn the plot, then got sent to one of the starter areas, but now you wake up on a random island, find some portals, and pick where to go-- but you have no clue why).

Plus, these games are upwards of 100gb. I understand that's due to the amount of content, but there's no optimization whatsoever. Comparatively, Warframe's less than 50 and some updates actually lower the overall size on some platforms.

To get to 1999 requires something like 80-200hrs of gameplay.

What i know about it is that it acts as a final Multipler and a faction mod meaning it applys DoT status twice, is the the double dip just a thing tacked onto it as an effect or an effect of the math? Besides that, how does the Multipler work, if my roar is 300% and my weapon would deal 10 damage, is roar making it 30 damage? Or 40? Or niether

Just the initial damage from gun shot is buffed by it, and then that buffed number is used in the DoT damage calculation, which then uses the roar bonus again
