Also you have to kill stuff before you kill stuff effectively, which is annoying.

However there's a really delightful new wrinkle, which is the Semi-Auto mod series

Semi-[weapon] Canonade is better than the base damage mod and comparable to the arcanes and has a bonus effect that usually works really great for the weapon.

So I put that on basically all my semi-auto weapons.

Crit is a bit sneaky, because while the primed crit mods are great, the corrupted crit mods are better and cost less capacity. So slot the corrupted mod and use a fire rate mod to offset it.

Crit damage is best from the prime CD mods.

Multishot and status chance should come from the galvanized mods.

The Galvanized status mods come with a "Condition Overload" effect that increases damage on enemies with extra status effects.

this is basically free damage, but it only applies on direct damage, so AOE weapons miss out

Elements are pretty nifty. Used to be that viral was king of the elements but now you have your choice.

The "best" elements are the damage over time elements. Heat, electric, toxin, blast, magnetic. Slash is also a DOT element, but never mod for slash, it either has it or not.

And sometime you gotta hack outpost with Sharen and hope to gods Chad Pubs don't mess it up because you forgot to put in solo, or solo failed it's job to keep people out of the session.

use a crate breaker. The white boxes that don’t disappear or come to you when you get within vacuum range are caches
