As mentioned in #update-notes-and-workshops, we are currently Hotfix dark while we build an Interim Cert Build. We have a handful of Code fixes in this build that address current issues such as:

  • Gyre's Conductive Sphere Augment applies an electricity bonus to enemy bullets as well.
  • Yareli’s with Evade subsumed can’t gain Evade duration on headshot kill while riding Merulina.
  • Initial Combo doesn’t grow while Mesa or Jade’s Exalted Weapons are active.
  • Coda and normal Catabolyst primary fire always causing screen shake.
  • Coda Motorvore inherits IPS damage Mods from Exalted Melee Weapons that are using Melee Doughty.
  • Wirematrix Ephemera can cause stuttering on lower-spec machines
  • Cloaked appearances in settings doesn’t apply to Archwings or Railjacks when invisible.
  • First Archgun Mod in Archwing is ignored if player is below MR30 and has used all available Capacity on the Archgun.
  • Unveiled Rivens that were unveiled by completing the challenge will be hidden by "Hide Equipped" toggle in the Trading Menu if it hasn't been equipped on a weapon since unveiling. This causes players to think their Rivens are not available to trade, when they are secretly considered "equipped" on the backend and therefore hidden by this toggle.
  • Falling out of the Concert in the Technocyte Coda Showdown means instant fail on death in subsequent runs.

As well, we’ll have some quality of life improvements coming with future Updates, such as:

  • Adding the ability to modify your Warframe loadout from the Archimedea menus.

During this “Hotfix dark” phase, the team will continue to log your bug reports & feedback for continued fixes towards 1999 and Techrot Encore content. More to come and share here as we continue building the Interim Cert Update!

As mentioned during Devstream #187, we have a big pile of Quality of Life changes coming with our next update we wanted to share!

You can expect:

  • Being able to switch your loadout from Temporal and Deep Archimedea menus
    • No more trying to remember which frame you were going to equip, then going back to check, then going back into your arsenal...
  • Improved Arsenal Quality of Life
    • Broader Warframe and Weapon categories, to easily filter by say, "Bows"!
    • Improved Search Consistency
    • Searching for Mods by clicking on a Stat
      • Click on a stat in your equipment stats, and it will filter to all Mods which affect that Stat
  • Universal Gemini Emote
    • Now you don't need to keep an emote for every Gemini skin in your Gear Wheel - though nothing is stopping you from doing that too!
  • Archon Shard Removal Cost Changes
    • Instead of every Archon Shard taking the same resources to remove, we'll be spreading out the costs based on Archon Shard Color.
  • Additions to the Arbitration Store
    • Having a rough time getting a drop you need from Arbitrations? Now you can pick them up from the store!
  • Changes to Ivara's Concentrated Arrow Augment
    • Additions for Status Chances, increased Crit Chance,with a small line of sight change as well.
  • Reducing Scaldra Dedicant Health
  • Adding an Auxillary toggle for Minerva's Sunglasses, so she can be wearing them OR have them on her head.
  • We'll be removing the 1999 Demo soon! With 1999 out, you're going to have to do Main quests to reach your time in the 90's.

As mentioned on Devstream #188, we have a ton of New Player Experience and Quality of Life changes coming with Yareli Prime and Isleweaver!

To break it down a little:

New Player Experience Changes:

  • The 'Golden' Path is being reworked to be faster, making it easier to reach 1999.
  • Captain Vor will be getting his rework, including a reworked arena and new boss mechanics.
  • Some Grineer enemies will be getting slight changes, including:
    • Bailiff being turned into a bit of a miniboss
    • Ballista providing a more clear lock-on with their sniper shots
    • Eviscerators gaining an area of denial attack in the form of grenades
  • The Junction rework continues, this time bigger than ever before - many Junctions are having their requirements streamlined, the UI is getting a fresh overhaul and some quality of life of its own, and Arbitrations will be unlocked directly from Junctions now, to give access even earlier!
  • Rhino's cost is being reworked, so he can be built on earlier planets than before.
  • Railjack Difficulty in The New War is being fine tuned, so players who enter with fresh Railjacks that have no upgrades can still complete the quest
  • Plants will no longer need scanned, just ran over to pick them up!

Quality of Life Improvements:

  • More KIM conversations will be coming, with 10 new conversations for each of the original 6 protoframes!
  • Cavalero's Incarnon Shop will now carry the Incarnons from the active week's circuit for purchase
  • Clan Dojo QOL Improvements
  • Captura QOL features
  • New Operator Hair styles
    • Flare, Minerva, Velimir, and Kaya 's hair styles!
  • 4 new Warframe Augments
    • Kullervo, Caliban, Citrine, and Jade will each be receiving one!
  • Melee Slam Changes

Hi Tenno!

Thank you for the feedback on the New Player Experience and Quality of Life Dev Workshop — the team is actively reviewing everything shared there. Many Tenno pointed out the time gate related to the "Start building Rhino" task, so we have amended that Junction to only require players to start building a Rhino Component Blueprint.

We've updated the Dev Workshop post accordingly!

Update 38.6: Yareli Prime is here! It brings a ton of Quality of Life changes, many of which we mentioned here! For a quick, non-comprehensive list:

  • Added the “Universal Gemini Emote” that automatically uses the corresponding Gemini transformation emote for the Gemini skin you have equipped!
  • Added a new Auxiliary option to Minerva’s Gemini Skin that’ll allow you to put her sunglasses on her face!
  • You can now change your Loadout from the Temporal and Deep Archimedea screens.
  • Arbitration rotation rewards (excluding Omni Forma) have been added to the Arbitration store (Arbiters of Hexis in the Relay) to provide players an easier path to these items via Vitus Essence
  • Added a “!” notification icon to the in-game News Segment to indicate when something new has been added to the News and Community tabs.
  • Added the Tonkkatt and Tak & Lug Blueprints and Components to the Grineer Ghoul drop tables.
  • Added the ability to curate Warframes and Weapons in the Arsenal using category tabs.
  • Added the ability to sort Mod inventory by selecting Stats in the Upgrade UI.
  • Improved the search functionality in the Arsenal to more reliably bring up associated Weapons based on the search term.
  • Each Archon Shard type now uses a different Secretion instead of all Bile in its removal cost.
  • Reduced the Secretion cost of base Archon Shard removal by half from 30% to 15% (Tauforged Shards are unchanged at 30%).
  • Added a Captura “Quick Access” menu to the Gear Wheel while in Captura Scenes.
  • You can now customize HUD colors for Reload/Charge and Cooldown HUD elements in the Accessibility settings > Interface > Customize HUD colors > Scroll down to “Combat Feedback” section.
  • Account Binding and Auto Login is now available for players who use the Epic Games Launcher!
  • Potency Mods can now be Sold, Dissolved, and Transmuted!

Evening Tenno!

Part of today’s update included retiring our support for controller Action Sets in the Steam Input configs. However, our reasoning for doing so, as outlined in the patch notes, pales in comparison to the importance of these tools and their ability to make our game much more accessible. We deeply apologize to the Tenno out there who rely on customizing their controller via Action Sets to play Warframe, and for making such a significant change to player controls without notice. We continually strive to make Warframe accessible and be transparent about changes as big as this, but we fell short of those intentions today.

That said, we are going to restore controller Action Sets in the Steam Input configs for Warframe and are currently reviewing the steps we’ll need to take to bring it back correctly.

We’ll update the thread here once we have a more accurate timeline for the revert and what you can expect upon its return.

Additionally, please use this Forums thread to report the issues you experienced when attempting to rebind from your Action Sets to the Warframe defaults so our team can revisit them. The more details we have, the better we can understand what additional support is needed for the defaults, especially for accessibility.

Again, we are very sorry for the frustrations this caused, and thank you for bringing the urgency of this matter to our attention.

PRE-HOTFIX STATUS UPDATE

Hello Tenno!

**We will be restoring controller Action Sets in the Steam Input configs in today’s Hotfix. **

NOTE: You may have to exit and reopen Steam and restart your Steam Deck in order for the action sets to appear. This should fix issues with controllers not being auto-detected.

Ahead of the Hotfix launching, we want to share what you can expect once it has been re-enabled so that you are prepared:

  • When controller action sets were removed, it likely cleared players’ custom configs as well. This means that once the Hotfix goes live, players will need to manually set them up again as desired. We’re deeply sorry for the continued inconvenience!
  • In the midst of restoring Action Sets, we have also made the following fixes:
    • Fixed adaptive triggers not working with Steam Input enabled. If you wish to disable/enable haptic feedback, you can do so by going into settings in Warframe > Controller tab > scroll down to Gameplay settings section > Use the “Enable Controller Trigger Effect” toggle.
    • Fixed being unable to use Transference and Last Gasp by pressing the touchpad on PlayStation controllers both when “Use defaults” in the Warframe Steam Input Configs are enabled or disabled.
  • Certain issues that were fixed with the removal of action sets will be reintroduced. These have been persistent issues with Steam Input Action Sets, and we do not have an estimated timeline to address them at time of writing. The following lists some of the issues, but is not exhaustive and you may encounter others.
    • Kahl’s jetpack boosters can get stuck always activating.
    • Necramech’s stamina stuck continuously draining after dodging/dashing repeatedly.
    • Backing out of Pilot/Gunner seats in Railjack is bound to Square/X, which nullifies the Flush Heat Sinks Intrinsic reloading mechanic.
    • Archwing cannot utilize the blink mechanic.
    • Held inputs remain intact after the Ability menu is opened and closed.
  • For peace of mind, the following fixes/improvements that occurred after yesterday’s update will remain in place post-Hotfix:
    • Full keyboard & mouse support for Steam Deck and Steam Big picture mode.
    • The “Enable Controller Trigger Effect Function” toggle for DualSense Controllers remains restored.
    • DualSense LED functions remain restored.
      • **Note: **Previously, only the backlight was active without being tied to any specific logic that would be used by the LED. Now, the LED will light up depending on actions in game, such as entering low health/being downed or shields being damaged etc.
    • Controller icons auto-detection when set to default remains restored.

We want to apologize again for making such a significant change to player controls without a proper heads-up and for disrupting your ability to play over the past day and a half.

We noticed that the price for the Aroka Prime Sugatra was incorrectly listed as 2 instead of 1 Regal Aya. This has since been corrected, but for Tenno who have already purchased the Sugatra we are working on a script to refund you 1 Regal Aya.

Howdy, all! We’re back with an update on Valkyr’s reworked kit.

Since Valkyr’s rework reveal, we’ve continued to iterate based on internal testing and the vast array of external feedback. Additionally, we worked with NoSympathyy, Brozime and TheKengineer to acquire further hands-on experience to help provide us with further changes to Valkyr’s reworked kit.

Warframe Stats, relative to reworked/Dev Workshop numbers:

  • New base Valkyr Health: 650 from 450.
  • New Prime Valkyr Health: 650 from 450.
  • New Prime Valkyr Armor: 1000 from 935.

Ripline:

  • Base Range increased to 9m.
    • Based on Tester & Creator feedback

Paralysis:

  • Energy cost reduced to 25 Energy from 50 Energy.
    • Based on Tester & Creator feedback

Passive: Rage & Death Prevention

  • Increased the acquisition rate of Rage when killing and hitting enemies.
    • We aim to ensure she’s never without a bounty of Rage for both damage increase and Death Prevention to ensure she’s confident tackling Elite Temporal Archimedea or Elite Deep Archimedea.
  • Activating Valkyr’s Death Prevention only requires 50% of the Rage meter, down from 75% Rage.
  • Valkyr’s Death Prevention window is now 5 seconds, from 3 seconds

Hysteria

  • Hysteria now drains 5 Energy per second—Hysteria no longer ramps up Energy Drain.
  • Hysteria’s Life Steal is now 100 Health per hit, from 50 Health per hit.
  • Increased the Combo Counter gained from Hysteria’s Claw attacks (excluding the spin).
    • Based on Tester & Creator feedback
      • Fervor (Neutral Combo):
        • Old: 1/1/1/1/1/1
        • New: 1/1/2/2/2/3
      • Delirium (Neutral Block Combo):
        • Old: 1/1/1/1
        • New: 1/1/2/2
      • Rage (Forward Combo):
        • Old: 1/1/1/1

Today we released the Isleweaver microsite which included outdated and inaccurate ability descriptions for our next web-slinging Warframe Oraxia. We’ve since updated the descriptions (for English, localized text to be updated soon!) to properly reflect development thus far, so for those of you out there who are eagerly preparing builds for her can do so with the most up to date information.

To save you a click or two, here are the updated ability descriptions:

Passive:
Wall Latching grants Predator’s Lurk, rendering Oraxia invisible for an 8s duration.

**Ability 1: Mercy’s Kiss **
Leap onto an enemy and pierce them with Oraxia’s spider legs, dealing Toxin Damage. Enemies defeated by this attack have a chance to drop Health or Energy Orbs.

**Ability 2: Webbed Embrace **
Oraxia throws a creeping web to ensnare her prey. Enemies caught within the widening radius are trapped inside a cocoon that increases their Damage Vulnerability.

Ability 3: Widow’s Brood
Oraxia launches a barrage of stinging darts in front of her that applies Toxin Status Effect. Poisoned enemies spawn Scuttlers when killed.

Ability 4: Silken Stride
Unfurl Oraxia’s spider legs and go on the prowl. Oraxia is immune to Status Effects and has increased Maximum Health. Ranged Weapons are imbued with Toxin Damage. Killing enemies causes them to burst with Toxin.

Silken Thread: Tap Dodge to leap to a targeted surface.

Her abilities are still subject to change, but for now the website provides a better written representation of what you can expect with Isleweaver’s launch on <t:1750863600:D>.

We can confirm that the "Corrupted Flesh" modifier was not interacting with the Temple Defense Target as intended, so we have swapped that modifier out and will be working on a fix for that issue in a future hotfix. You should see the new Stage Defense modifier when visiting Kaya.

Operation: Eight Claw has ended, but Dominus Thrax isn't leaving your Dormizone quite so quickly. I mean, who knows if you've cleared out all the spiders? I certainly wouldn't go back to my home until I was absolutely positively CERTAIN! If you have any leftover Dominus Aureus, you'll have another week to spend them before he heads back to Duviri!

Make sure to grab all the goodies he has to offer before he's in a less agreeable mood. Scuttler Husks will still be available to trade with Acrithis once Dominus Thrax departs, if you still need to obtain Oraxia or her webbed weapons.

Additionally, while the Event has concluded, the Isleweaver node is permanent in the Duviri Star Chart for those who wish to continue their Scuttler Husk journey. That said, we see the feedback regarding Duviri fatigue (RNG loadouts/weighting, objective variety/quantity, etc.) and will take a serious diagnostic approach post-TennoCon with your input collected. As always, we appreciate your feedback!

Hey Tenno! We are aware that after Wednesday's hotfix, Incarnon Mode is now disabled for Sicarus Prime, Cestra, and Dera Vandal (edit: Original just said Dera). We are looking into what is causing this, and aiming to resolve this in our next Cert update.

Dog Days 2025 has arrived!

Event Changes

Dog Days is making some waves with significant changes from years past to make the event more accessible than ever:

  • The Noodletron Hammer will override melee weapons for all players during the new Floaty of Fury Alerts and Dog Days Missions
  • Several adjustments made to the Soaktron, including increased magazine size, rate of fire, projectile range, and improvements to reloading!
    • The Soaktron also has a standard ammo pool now, meaning you do not need to replenish it at refill stations and it comes equipped with the "perfect reload" mechanic that can speed up reload time if timed correctly
  • Lob Blobs have a higher damage output and damage radius
  • Many returning items in Nakak’s shop for Nakak Pearls will receive discounts
  • You can sort Nakak Pearl offerings by item name, latest additions and price

Floaty of Fury Alerts

Special weekend Alerts will appear outside the Dog Days Node all throughout August! Floaty of Fury Alerts will appear on the Star Chart as an additional way to earn some Nakak Pearls:

  • Alert 2: Loki Community Glyph + 50K Credits (50 Nakak Pearls first completion, 20 Pearls subsequent runs)
  • Alert 3: Nova Community Glyph + 50K Credits (75 Nakak Pearls first completion, 30 Pearls subsequent runs)
  • Bonus Alert 4: Valkyr Community Glyph + 50K Credits (100 Nakak Pearls + 2 per kill first completion, 30 Pearls + rewards per kill subsequent runs)
    Please note: Replaying Mission 4 earns you Nakak Pearls for each enemy you soak to smithereens (or give a humiliating defeat with a Noodletron), and now also counts for assists.

New Rewards

There are also several all-new goodies making their way to Nakak’s store in exchange for Nakak Pearls!

  • Noodletron Hammer Skin: Boop enemies with this vicious tube of embarrassment that can be used with any hammer and celebrate Dog Days all year round. WARNING: Not a floatation device.

  • Dog Days Flow Emote: Demonstrate control and flow with this fluid emote.
  • Dog Days “Hang Loose” Poster: Ride the waves with Yareli. Beverage not included.

Returning items like the Roller Floofs, Dog Days Ephemera, the Soaktron Rifle Skin, and loads more will also be available at Nakak’s store!

We are aware of some issues affecting the Calendar in 1999, both the desk date display and accessing the calendar via the POM-2.

We are looking into these issues - we do not have a timeline for a fix, but we are investigating. We will update you here once we have resolved the issue.

The reputation gains per bounty stage are currently granting incorrect amounts. In 2023, Plaguestar reputation was changed to gain as follows:
Plague Star - Standard
Stage 1 - 50
Stage 2 - 300
Stage 3 - 100
Stage 4 - 575
Total Operational Supply Standing: 1,025 (was 1,000)

Plague Star - Advanced
Stage 1 - 200
Stage 2 - 1000
Stage 3 - 300
Stage 4 - 1700
Total Operational Supply Standing: 3,200 (was 3,050)

Plague Star - Steel Path
Stage 1 - 200
Stage 2 - 1100
Stage 3 - 400
Stage 4 - 2100
Total Operational Supply Standing: 3,800 (was 3,650)

Bonus Operational Supply Standing:
Standard: 25
Advanced: 75

Decoration Cost Reduction

Decorations sold by Old Man Sumbaat in Cetus, Onkko in Cetus, Hombask on the Zariman, and Cephalon Simaris in Relays are being reduced - now you can get more decorations for the same amount of standing!

This is what's going to finally get me to start my long-term artwork goal, an Archon Shard made entirely of Nutrient Cubes. Then I can finally answer the question of what the Red Archon Shards taste like! Protein!

Arcane Readditions in The Vallis Undermind

We are adding some existing Arcanes to The Vallis Undermind, as a second way to obtain those Arcanes. They're hand picked Arcanes designed to work well with the Arbucep, Nokko's signature Archgun! (and as a reminder for those who may not know, Archguns are getting Arcane slots with The Vallis Undermind!)

You'll have to wait for next week to see which Arcanes we're talking about though - wouldn't want to spoil all the surprises!

Arcane Dissolution is getting more Arcanes!

We're tracking a bug right now where taking a Bleeding Dragon Key into The Teacher will cause you to be unable to progress. While we will be pushing a fix for this with our next Hotfix, we suggest you check your equipped Dragon Keys before you begin the quest, and unequip any you have equipped.

As mentioned, we were unable to ship a specific setting with The Vallis Undermind due to code restraints, but we will be looking to add a separate setting for recoil feedback in the next major update.

Upcoming Damage Attenuation Changes From Player Feedback

Now that the Damage Attenuation changes are in your hands, you have provided us with valuable feedback, as requested from the start—thank you for that!

Based on your feedback, we have the following changes coming in a Hotfix later today:

  • Damage Attenuation changes have been **removed **from regular objective enemies. As a result of this, these regular objective enemies can be one-shotted again.
  • **Damage Attenuation is now solely reserved for true Bosses and enemies with the HUD health bars. **
  • For certain enemies retaining Damage Attenuation, we have adjusted the values to allow for one-shot kills, if a player’s build is powerful enough.

For ultimate clarity, please see the list of affected enemies:

The intention of the Damage Attenuation changes was to normalize the difficulty of boss-type enemies between groups of players. Still, we recognize that our broad application of that term inadvertently made “objective-type” enemies (ex: Demolishers) harder to kill. We’re redefining our standardization of Damage Attenuation to only apply to True Bosses / HUD Health Bar enemies with our upcoming hotfix, thanks to player feedback.

Our goal was to make powerful builds feel more impactful against Damage Attenuated foes, and with your continued feedback, we can ensure we achieve that together.

The team is continuing to look into other reports of bugs and feedback. Please keep it coming!

We've seen you mention that the Credit rewards from the Deepmines Bounties feel a bit low, and we agree. We've managed to find some extra caches of Credits Nef left lying around, so you'll notice the Credit amount from Deepmines Bounties increased with our next Hotfix.

**Normal Difficulty: **

  • Rotation B: (Old) 2k to (New) 10k
  • Rotation C: (Old) 3k to (New) 15k

**Steel Path: **

  • Rotation B: (Old) 5k to (New) 20k
  • Rotation C: (Old) 8k to (New) 30k

PSA: UPDATE: Recoil x Screenshake and Aya Acquisition

Hi Tenno!

As mentioned before, we have some next steps we’re working towards for both these subjects that we wanted to shed some light on.

Firstly, regarding the Recoil x Screenshake conversation, there are a few essential details to note:

  • On Console & iOS, we cannot revert the changes that came in The Vallis Undermind or add the Toggle due to the inability to Cert, as they're both Code changes.
  • For PC, we can integrate Code as long as it doesn’t break Cross Save/Play compatibility.

With those two things in mind, we are moving forward with integrating the Toggle on PC in our next Hotfix. We recognize that this leaves Console & iOS players in their current state until our next Cert update, and we apologize for that. We introduced this problem knowing Code tied our hands.

Console & iOS Tenno can look forward to these changes with our next Cert Update — plus any additional tweaks that may come from feedback after this PC implementation.

Now, let’s detail what the Toggle will bring to PC in this next Hotfix and Consoles/iOS in the next Cert update:

  • Screenshake and Weapon Recoil are now separate Accessibility toggle options!
    • *Screenshake: Toggles most screen shake effects with the exception of camera movement caused by recoil. *
  • Recoil now has its own Accessibility toggle with the following three options:
    • Camera: Camera bounces with each shot (default).
    • Reticle: A diamond represents the recoil, camera movement reduced.
      • Friendly reminder that the diamond reticle applies your custom HUD color
    • Reduced: No recoil representation, camera movement reduced.

We have also implemented some fixes from player feedback to PC, Console & iOS (as these are not code fixes):

  • Fixed the recoil diamond not applying custom reticle HUD colors until you aimed at an enemy.
  • Fixed the excessive screen shake from the Latron/Prime Incarnon’s explosion VFX.

Again, we apologize for the back-and-forth here on our implementation.

Secondly, regarding the Aya Acquisition conversation, we changed Open Landscape Bounties in The Vallis Undermind update, causing stages to randomize when a specific Bounty is run repeatedly. This change affected certain niche tactics players would use to farm Aya much more efficiently than the usual randomized Bounty structure intended. We did not adequately convey our goals with this change to the patch note team, and we apologize for that.

While we stand by our intention with these changes, some players highlighted that the sheer disparity in Bounty stage length would cause some Bounties to take significantly longer, due to bad luck with randomly selected stages. We agreed with this sentiment, and wanted to review how long certain Bounty stages would take, reducing the duration of stages that we found took the longest.

In the interest of making changes quickly, we will be updating the following Bounty stages with simple modifications intended to reduce duration:

Plains of Eidolon:

  • Resource Theft: Reduce defense timer from 2m to 1m30s
  • Liberation: Reduce defense timer from 2m30s to 1m30s

Orb Vallis:

  • Rescue: Tripled progress gained from pickups meant to accelerate mission
    Each pickup now reduces the defense timer by 30 seconds, up from 10 seconds
  • Coildrive Hack: Reduce defense timer from 2m30s to 1m30s

Cambion Drift:

  • Liberation: Reduce defense timer from 2m30s to 1m30s
  • Excavation: Reduced number of excavators required for completion
    • All required excavators are now deployed at the start of the bounty stage

In addition to speeding up the collection of Aya, this will also increase the speed at which new players will gain Standing, which is a nice added bonus!

We appreciate everyone that has shared constructive thoughts and suggestions on the matter of Aya farming, and we look forward to continued discussion as we all enjoy The Vallis Undermind update together.

With the launch of The Vallis Undermind, an issue was introduced causing certain non-Warframe Set Mods to no longer apply their Set Mod bonuses.

This issue affects the following Set Mods:

  • Carnis
  • Gladiator

  • Tek
  • Vigilante

Unfortunately, since this is a code fix, we are not able to address it for all platforms until our next Cert build. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.

A progression stop when replaying The War Within has come to our attention that we won’t be able to fix until our next update. If you intend to replay The War Within, you should un-equip arcanes from your Operator and Drifter before beginning. They can be re-equipped after completing the replay.

  • Cursor jittering and other UI issues when accessing menus with a Keyboard and Mouse on Playstation.
    • Known workaround: turn off your Playstation controller to alleviate most of the issues.

Additionally, our re-worked recoil toggle, currently on PC, will arrive on Consoles and iOS with this The Old Peace! For a refresher:

PSA: Larkspur Prime Listing Not Including Gravimag (UI only)

We have just fixed an issue with being unable to make multiple Larkspur Prime standalone purchases (bundles are unaffected) from the Prime Resurgence offerings, but in doing so the listing no longer specifies that an uninstalled Gravimag is also included.

We want to reassure you that purchasing a Larkspur Prime will also include an uninstalled Gravimag into your account, even though it is not currently listed.

We will have this issue sorted with the release of The Old Peace.

PSA: Operator & Drifter Remaster Expectations

Hey Tenno!

The Operator and Drifter Remaster is on the horizon, and we are excited for you to jump in and experience this huge change.

Players that have unlocked their Operator or Drifter will receive a prompt on login explaining that we have released this rework! Fear not, your customizations have not been reset. Your existing looks for both Operator and Drifter have been ported over with our best approximation using the new setup.

Players should expect some changes to hair, makeup, and complexion, as the remaster includes new texture channels that were not present before and therefore cannot be matched 1:1. By selecting “Customize” you can apply these adjustments straight away. If you’d rather go right into gameplay, hit “Continue” and you can return to your Operator and Drifter at a later time!

We understand the connection to your character (especially after 10 years!) and our team crafted this adaptation to the best of our ability. That being said, this is not a perfect one-to-one transition!

While the remaster offers more naturalistic and lifelike customization, your Operator and Drifter may need some fine tuning. Those with more eccentric looks (looking at you Ronald) may need more tuning than others, and may be unable to recreate the extremes of our old system.

Overall, this remaster is a huge lift, and we hope you explore all the new ways to make your Operator and Drifter your own.

PSA: Vendor Purchases Causing Loss of Functionality

~~We are investigating an issue with all our vendors (e.g. Loid in the Necralisk) leading to a loss of functionality if you click on a bundle. This can include some offerings that offer a singular item as well (e.g. Vocas). It can also extend to trading Entrati Family Tokens for Grandmother Token, buying Vosfor from Syndicates, or viewing Prime Resurgence Bundles at Varzia. ~~

We suggest avoiding making these purchases while we look into this matter to avoid issues.

We’ll update here once we have found a solution for a hotfix!

With the Operation: Blood of Perita’s arrival today, we introduced the Dax Lustratus Shoulder Armor. We’ve seen feedback that the metallic tints on the Shoulder Armor appear in the Primary tint channel as opposed to the Accent tint channel, where metallic tints usually appear. We will be adjusting this in an upcoming hotfix, so metallic pieces will appear on the Accent tint channel.

PSA: The Devil’s Triad KIM Conversation Bugs

Hi Tenno!

The Old Peace brought the newest chapter to our Kinematic Instant Messenger system: The Devil’s Triad! This new KIM expansion was our most ambitious, with the goal of weaving gameplay progress into these characters’ stories. The resulting narrative story is complicated, which meant that its bugs could be even more complicated to untangle.

The past few weeks have been spent trying to address edge-cases so players can find success in this system, but hotfixes would sometimes come with their own bugs that sects of players feeling more and more confused. The Devil’s Triad KIM is an optional side-story for those wanting deeper interactions with characters — it should not be a source of frustration, and we apologize if you’ve had less-than-ideal experiences with it thus-far.

With that in mind, let’s talk about our next steps moving forward:

Step One — Bug Fixing:

41.0.7 released yesterday with our largest batch of fixes yet, and we believe that most Drifters (who haven’t hit all fail states) can progress now — if you are still having issues after this hotfix, it’s possible you’re in a broken state that is best addressed via support. For those still broken, there are two avenues available to you:
1. Wait for your bug to be fixed in a hotfix (if included in the list below)
2. Reset — either in-game or with Support’s help (to avoid the lore element)
3. Contact Support for assistance

1. Waiting for Fixes

Here is the list of known bugs on our radar that we can fix†:

  • Chat History has incorrect responses and conversations (not exclusive to The Devil’s Triad).
  • Lyon becomes Friendly if you break up with him.
  • Lyon will not continue in a certain conversation if you are Best Friends and still attempting to reunite the family.
  • Roathe is stuck on Anathema when you are certain that you’ve done 21 runs of Descendia.

If you are willing to wait, your broken state can be addressed in a future hotfix.

† Note: this list may grow as we continue to review reports and identify other issues.

2. Resetting The Devil’s Triad

Many remaining bugs affect players who had other bugs fixed, leaving their accounts in a weird state — added conversations to avoid a progression stop, Rank changes due to bug fixes, etc.. The easiest way around this is to simply reset The Devil’s Triad to start your journey fresh once more. We understand this is a step back in the time commitment players have spent and we apologize.

There are two ways to do this:

  • The Digital Grimoire in the POM-2.
  • Contact Support
    • This option is for those who want to avoid a certain lore element caused by using The Digital Grimoire. We are working with our support team to help them safely reset your KIM progress with The Devil’s Triad without this lore element being triggered.

3. Contacting Support

If your account meets any of these criteria OR your KIM Conversations with The Devil’s Triad seem bugged, feel free to make a support ticket. Our narrative and support teams will be working closely to identify your problem and see if it’s a wrinkle you can smooth out yourself, or if we need to lend assistance.

Step Two — Continued Further Iteration:

This update brought a bug fix for The Devil's Triad KIM that is causing players to reduce their KIM rank when they replay missing conversations. This original fix was to address players not triggering a specific cutscene with The Devil's Triad, but is ultimately affecting all KIM conversations.

Post-Devstream #193 Clarifications

Devstream #193 was last week (Check out the recap!), and it was so jam packed we didn't get to detail everything we wanted to! With that in mind, we wanted to clarify a few things for you here!

Follie

There were some questions about how Follie's Shadowgraph summoned objects scale, so to clear it up: they do not scale off Ability Strength due to the objects already scaling off of the enemy level!

We also didn't get to mention which ability is her Helminth ability - which is currently her 3rd ability, Self Portrait, but may change!

Some folks were asking if every Lohk Surge buff is possible when Follie spawns a Lohk Surge. At this time, all buffs are available except for Infinite Ammunition/Fire Rate, which is disabled for performance reasons**†**.
†Please note that this may change if performance issues are detected with other buffs as well.

During the Devshorts we were asked if you could block doors or enemy pathing with Follie’s Shadowgraph by making a Defense target. The answer is no - We gave it a try, but it ended up being too game breaking to leave in. The Defense target has no collision and can be walked right through.

Re-equipping Atragraph Mods

One question asked during Devshorts wanted clarification on if you’d need to re-equip your Mods after foiling them into Atragraph Mods. You will not! This is a visual change to Mods you already own, so you will not need to re-equip any Mods in your loadouts.

Survival Speed-up

We wanted to call out that while we showed the Lost Spirit from Follie’s Shadowgraph ability chasing down the Security Bypass, other abilities which call out treasure also work! This means you can use Golden Instinct or Orokin Eye as well!

Cold Status Effect Changes

To clarify - Cold Status Effect is NOT changing when you apply Cold Status Effect to an enemy! Only the way the Cold Status Effects are applied to you is changing.

Palladino & Iron Wake

A few Tenno called out that we didn't show Palladino's updated offerings**†**. While we're still getting her new offerings set up, we can tell you about them!

  • Retired Requiem Relics (Requiem I, II, III, and IIII) (with a weekly purchase limit)
  • Riven Ciphers (with a weekly purchase limit)
  • Riven Transmuters (with a weekly purchase limit)
  • Requiem Ultimatum (with a weekly purchase limit)
  • (Amount TBD) Endo (with a weekly purchase limit)
  • Iron Wake Captura Scene
  • Rell emotion cards

Switch 2 Ambimanus Pack

We saw some confusion that the new goodies coming in the Ambimanus Pack (Akomeogi Warfan Skin, Buddies in Gaming Glyph, etc) was only coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and we just wanted to clear things up a bit!

While Nintendo Switch 2 players will get the Ambimanus Pack for free as a login reward, Tenno on all platforms will be able to obtain it from Varzia.

PSA: 3/20/26 Receiving Improper Game Invites - INVESTIGATING

Firstly, we apologize for the distress this issue may have caused. Bad actors were able to interrupt and change squad invite text fields to show up as a customized message. As the investigation is currently ongoing, we wanted to assure you that no accounts have been compromised nor data exposed, and it is safe to continue playing Warframe. This was strictly a change of text in the Invite prompt. If you have concerns about your account please feel free to make a Support Ticket on the matter and our team will assist.

In the meantime, we have deployed a fix to combat the issue. Matchmaking will still function as normal but you may have temporary issues with sending direct game invites. We will update you further when this has been resolved.

We take this matter extremely seriously, and again, apologize for the distress.

The team is continuing to investigate alternative solutions. For now, direct game invites will remain disabled until the launch of Shadowgrapher on Wednesday March 25th. Our sincerest apologies on that front.

However, if you wish to play in a squad with your friends, you are able to join squads using your friends list.

We will circle back on any necessary in-game extensions (global Double Affinity weekend, etc) once we have restored direct invites.

PSA: Eleanor’s ‘Coda Weapons’ Wares Updating with The Shadowgrapher

Update 42: The Shadowgrapher releases on <t:1774461600:D> and brings with it the Coda Bubonico! Like other Coda weapons, the Coda Bubonico will be available from Eleanor for Live Heartcells. Since we are updating her offerings, her store will automatically rotate when The Shadowgrapher releases — conveniently making the Coda Bubonico available immediately.

This means her current rotation of Coda Weapons will end earlier than the in-game timer currently depicts, so if there’s any particularly deadly weapons you’d like to obtain from this rotation (like certain Dual Pistols with a 60% Radiation bonus...), stop by and pick them up before <t:1774461600:D>!

Hi Tenno,

First, we appreciate your understanding regarding this situation that occurred on the evening of Friday March 20th. Your quick reports allowed us to act swiftly, and while the temp solution to disable direct game invites is by no means ideal, it was necessary to mitigate the nefarious invite messages being sent. We take player safety very seriously, and again apologize for any distress caused.

Now that The Shadowgrapher update has launched, we have been able to deploy code changes to improve the security of the game invite system; unfortunately, due to Cert requirements, we have only been able to enable direct invites if the sender is playing on PC at this time.

We are working diligently to get this fix deployed on our console platforms and will update this thread as we progress.

Again, we want to stress that no accounts have been compromised nor data exposed.

Apologies again for the inconvenience, and thank you for sticking with us, Tenno.

Upcoming Follie’s Hunt Changes

Hi Tenno,

It’s been just over 24 hours since The Shadowgrapher released, bringing a variety of changes, fixes, cosmetics and more! With that said, we’re here to talk about the new game mode introduced: Follie’s Hunt.

As players poked their heads back into Vesper Relay, we’ve heard a variety of feedback. Follie’s Hunt at its core is a deviation from regular Warframe gameplay — a strange, scary hunt in the ruins of a Relay — so understandably there may be some players who don’t align with its design. Our goal is to respect the original design intent of the game mode, while improving some of the pain points for players: complaints of gameplay elements that made it unfun, encouraged rage quitting, or felt overly punishing.

Hotfix #1 brought a blurb indicating we’re discussing feedback, and here’s our first step iterating on it. Below is our current list of planned changes, which we hope to implement in coming patches:

  • Follie is no longer invincible and can be forced to retreat briefly if her health bar is depleted.
  • Also reduced Follie’s damaging aura by a third on Normal and Steel Path
  • Atramentum pickups will be shared squad-wide.
  • Also improved visibility of Atramentum Balloons since they are a critical source of the resource.
  • *Note: Atramentum acquisition is one of the larger complaints due to the store costs. Those values were calculated with the understanding that players are destroying balloons and killing enemies (which both drop Atramentum). We’ll be closely monitoring acquisition rates after this change to see if more needs to be done. *
  • Overall lighting changes to improve visibility.
  • Inky Walls will no longer damage players or cause knockdowns.
  • The waypoints spawned from killing enemies will now direct to a Canvas if there are no active Canvases.

We hope these changes will help Follie’s Hunt feel a little less overwhelming and give players options to counterplay as you slink through Vesper to complete Shadowgraphs. PSA: Addressing Operator & Drifter Appearance Changes post-Shadowgrapher

We’ve seen your reports that your Operators and Drifters’ appearance has changed with the release of The Shadowgrapher yesterday. We’re working on addressing the following issues:

**1 - High pore contrast **
We’re exploring if we can lower the intensity of pore details in the Operator and Drifter textures.

For the time being, PC players can reduce the intensity of the pore details to their liking using the TAA Sharpen slider in the game’s Video settings.

**2 - Eye shine being very intense **
Working on a fix to resolve!

3 - Visage 47, 96, 20, 41 and 95 head/face shape and textures changed from their pre-update appearance
We’re looking to change these back closer to how they looked before the update.

**4 - Operators developing wrinkles overnight **
We’re looking to revert this! This is a Drifter texture that was unintentionally applied over to the Operators. We know the Operators have been through a lot, but premature wrinkling is a bit much.

We’ll continue to share updates as we make progress to resolving the above – thank you!

PSA: iOS Booster Delivery Extension

As we mentioned in our Operation Extension & Rectifying Downtime PSA: We know how important and valuable Boosters are in building out your Arsenal and gaining greater Mastery. As a result of the loss in time on active personal boosters and missing the global 2x Credit Weekend, we had planned an iOS Booster Delivery for April 10th @ 9 a.m. ET - April 14th @ 9 a.m. ET which would come with a *3 day Affinity and Credit Booster. Due to a bug, this Booster Delivery was only available to iOS accounts without Cross Platform Save enabled.

*If you were unable to login on iOS until the Monday Hotfix and had a different Booster expire (Resource, etc) please message our Support team and they will assist.

We have fixed the bug that caused this issue so the booster can now be claimed by all iOS players. To ensure that all iOS players have a chance to claim the Booster Delivery, we are also extending the end date so it can be claimed until <t:1776517200:f>. To claim the iOS Booster Delivery, simply log into Warframe on iOS, or load into your base of operations again if you are already in-game. Check your inbox for the Booster Delivery!

Please note that if you have already claimed the Booster Delivery from the original time window, you will not be able to claim it again.

PSA: Invites Not Being Delivered

Hi Tenno,

We’ve been investigating reports of certain players not having their invites delivered, often resulting in a message indicating “the user is offline” when they are clearly online. After some digging, it appears this issue stems from outdated Windows versions causing network delays. Due to the complexity of this networking issue (the variety of systems, routers, and ISPs), we are carefully working on a fix we hope to ship with Jade Constellations in June.

In the meantime, the team has identified a workaround for those in this broken state:

  • Ensure your Windows version is up to date
  • Log in to Warframe and navigate to System Settings
  • Select “Analyze Network”
  • If it takes longer than a couple of minutes or indicates “UPnP Malfunctioning”, disable UPnP in System Settings
  • Restart Warframe

Once those steps are complete, you hopefully should be able to successfully send invites!

*There may be edge-cases that are not addressed by this workaround, so we will continue to monitor this thread if that applies to you. *

PSA: Balor Fomorian mission incorrectly starting wrong mission type

It appears that the Balor Fomorian mission is incorrectly launching a Corpus Capture mission instead of the appropriate Grineer Archwing mission. While we are working on a fix, you will be unable to complete the bonus reward of 200,000 credits and the Orokin Reactor.

We are hoping to get this resolved quickly. Thanks for your patience while this new mysterious Corpus Treasurer “Balor Fomorian” causes havoc.

In the meantime, we have retired the event and a Razorback Armada will begin shortly in its place. Basically, Vay Hek’s Fomorian has been repossessed until it learns to behave. Once we are able to hotfix the issue (and the Armada has ended), the Balor Fomorian will return.
