I'd say there's no "correct" way to say it

to me, there are 2 big types of attacks : light, and heavy, I usually call "light" "normal"
but then, each category has "subtypes", like slide attacks, aerial attacks, slam attacks, etc

aerial attacks are attacks made while airborne, they can be both light and heavy, but in some cases, like for the ack&brunt inc, if u do a "normal" attack while in the air (so a light aerial attack) it shoots an axe

iirc sigma&octantis does it too, but it's super weak
u can also run a zaw with the arcane "exodia contagion", especially rabvee built for crit, it's super strong, but again, works with aerial attacks

tenet agendus, ceramic dag inc both shoot a proj on heavy like syam, zenistar, and gunblades (stropha, redeemer, etc) too
tenet grigori throws projectiles with heavy slide attacks
tenet exec, sampotes, ruvox shoot waves with heavy slam
glaives are thrown melees when holding light attack

but just shooting with light normal attacks, except maybe gunblades, idk
