at mr5 u don't have many options.. perhaps try a shotgun like hek, boar, strun, kohm or drakgoon
for rifles thornbak and burston should be good enough at that level with the proper modding... karak or gorgon is also a fun one.
If somehow you manage to get your hands on Braton Vandal thats also a great option.

i run my nokko at 180% strength and his 4 is doing over 5m dmg vs armored targets without crepuscular. Strength arcanes are overkill
