Heat procs don't work like other damaging procs.
When you inflict a heat proc, it's based on the hit that inflicted it - but all additional heat procs, no matter how much damage the weapon does, will be based on the original.

e.g your gun does 10 damage, inflicts a heat proc. The heat proc will do 5 damage.
You shoot the enemy with a gun that does 10 million damage, and inflicts a heat proc - the heat status goes to 2 stacks, and does 10 damage now.

you don't need an element, it's a slash based weapon. Slap afflictions on it and tennokai enemies and watch millions of damage in bleed procks
