Though I'd argue it's not necessary in terms of QoL ever since they reworked her animations, making recast WAY less of a hassle. Eternal War was great to avoid the old static animation War Cry used to have.

2 Augment + arcane persistence and amar’s hatred = effective immortality, it also sustains and increases melee combo slightly, his 4 can build melee combo more quickly which is about the only reason I use it, then you can basically just jump into a group of enemies without needing to worry about anything but their blood splatter and occasionally hitting a tennokai infused 1 for even more damage =)
