ABC are Reward tables for specific mission types. Certain rewards only drop from those mission tables. After completeing a full rotation every subsequent round can drop rewards from ANY table.

So lets say a defense's reward table is AABC and the reward you want is at the 15 minute market (reward table B) it means if you want to target farm the item you need to refer to the table of B and run that particular mission it drops from for 15 minutes ( each table is at the 5 min marker, or 3 rounds for defense used to be 5) or if you dont care just keep running said mission

If a particular item you want drops from defense, depending on the Reward table ( as it could be AABC or ABBC for example) you need to know what mission it is and what its reward table is. Which there is no ingame function for that. refer to the wiki.
