using mods to push your shields real low so they regen fast proportionately in combo with arcane aegis adding a chance for shield refresh whenever you're damaged and/or some energy use to shield mods - it's "lazy" because you're not actively pressing buttons in response to monitoring the gate, it just handles itself so long as you stay a baseline level of mobile, most of the time. (until it doesn't. part of why it's called lazy is also because it's sloppier, as opposed to normal gating, where good reaction time/situational awareness and energy econ just flatly guarantees invuln basically)

not much to work with tbh. the multiple metals all with different levels of gloss and undertones and on overlapping parts which are the same color in the base makes him difficult to feel really distinctive beyond just. shifting emissive/energy color and tint and throwing on some accessories, most of which kind of jar with his aesthetic or feel "obvious". he's like jade in that he has a really strong aesthetic by default but not much variety to be strained out

I had an idea for a gun. It's absolutely stupid but it's basically the Gunlance from Monster Hunter but it occupies the melee and Primary slots

Primary fires it like a cannon with the ADS bracing it against the shield. It has a secondary fire thats basically Wyvern Fire

Melee makes it function like a gun blade. Alternating between slashes, stabs and shield bashes with the finale of the combo basically ramming the barrel into them and pulling the trigger.

Oh and the thing basically fires tank shells cause why not.

tbh the demons are kind of a distraction a bit, a lot of his description is about them so they seem important/sound a bit complicated but its really just "pick up runes, kill face hugged enemies for rewards, chained enemies are discount collective cursed"

1 = fire aura and flying
2 = heal/shield gate for you and the demons
3 = vuln button that also carries 1's fire aura if its on
4 = big boom for following the demon's whims

it seems way bigger brained reading it than it is in play, where he's just kind of a relaxed hybrid weapons platform with a nuke in his pocket when he needs it

epitaph feels unparalleled for CO priming a massive radius at high speed and is a real enabler for melee to easily chew through mobs before combo is built up in later content (which it can do on a 0 forma build) and can also be a fun self priming single target executor if you invest in it on top of that. nothing is a Must Have per se but epitaph is the prime i have that felt most like an account wide upgrade if you feel me

the native cold is great for being able to slow down enemies that otherwise can't be cced, and overguard steal from fortifier on it lets you forego modding around knockdown if you're careful, too

nautilus with verglas is the pair you use if you want something chewing through steel path while you eat chips with your other hand or something. it can be built for priming + grouping too, but its kind of a waste used that way unless you really specifically want the grouping, the priming mostly being a bonus, imo
it Is good for grouping, but i kinda prefer the oraxia secondary or a subsume to handle grouping if i need it instead
