You’re not listening WE SPENT THE CURRENCY but it didn’t count towards the ephemera because it was before the ephemera was live we farmed for the frame and the holographic mods and everything else we wanted THEN after that the ephemera became live we farmed the event some more but thought we bought everything from the shop that we wanted not knowing we needed to go to the shop again to earn the ephemera we thought it was a community event like normal and would just be credited to our account after the event was over we don’t get to play every day because we have lives and work very long hours so unless it’s announced IN Game in big bold letters it’s kinda easy to miss and no we have a full clan and I asked everyone and no one in the clan caught this detail they all thought the same thing

Next time pay attention to the announcments, read (which a lot of warframe players seem to not do) and actually check out the event.
