Depends for the DLC. If you've paid for the game and then have to continue to buy the DLCs, some could say it's not worth it. If all future DLCs is included in a jacked up price, then that makes it worth it

DLC stands for DownLoadable Content. It should able to be downloaded without a fee
MTs should be reasonable, no more than half the game's price unless it's an F2P, and scale in cost

I'm saying this because some of the best DLC I've played is locked behind money. Terrible DLCs also have this issue.

Like new playable characters, new weapons, or new maps/levels with a new story
