My mom and my uncle used to play Mario games in their childhood so they told me about it and bought it for me

Years ago, it was around Christmas time.
Everyone was opening their presents, until I got to this one small box. Opened it, and was greeted to a Giant Skylander, Swarm to be specific.
My grandma actually bought that, not knowing we did not have a Wii or anything for the game, nor the actual game itself. So my mother knowing of it, she immediately offered to bring it back to Santa, but I refused, because he simply looked too cool.

But still, I basically couldn’t do anything with it, considering I didn’t own Giants nor Swap Force.
But when I got that one Skylander, the franchise actually started to SKYROCKET in terms of sales here.
We are talking entire walls full of the figurines in toy stores.
So almost everyone got the game, resulting in me always bringing along my one and only Skylander whenever people decided to hang out.

Overall, best accidental purchase ever.

You have a few for every character due to DLCs or Naturally Playable Characters in challenge maps. Asylum aint got that. Then you account for the villains

In origins, you got lines for Batman and Deathstroke from Joker, Bane, Riddler, and I think Penguin. For just Batman you have Deadshot, Shiva, Firefly, Croc, Deathstroke, and Brandon.

In asylum, you have lines for Batman from Joker, Croc, Scarecrow, Harley Quinn, and Bane

In city, you have lines for all 4 from Joker, Riddler and Penguin.

For just Batman and Catwoman, you add Hugo strange.

Catwoman has a unique one with Ivy.

For just Batman, you have lines from Two-Face, Clayface, Deadshot, Freeze, Quinn, Ra's al Ghūl, Talia al Ghūl and Zsasz, who had none in Asylum
