see, so here in me country, theres different education boards, and they have different curriculum. the most common subjects in all of the boards are - maths, english, science (chem, bio, phy), social science (history, geography, civics/political science, economics), and hindi, and computer.
we had to study for 12 years, and a like 1-2 years before those 12 years.
in that 8 years of studying, all the subjects are mandatory till 10th. after 10th grade you can switch and choose the subjects you want, you cant choose random subjects either. there are specific streams that have diff subjects.

the things we study till 8th grade (the year before freshmen for yall) are the basic things. we all need to know that stuff but since 9th-12th grade, stuff just gets difficult and more difficult, someone who isnt going to continue studying science in the future, has to study science till 10th.

in short, it's dumb.

My favorite teacher was from elementary since she’d do these cool stuff like field trips such as camping, do fun activities rather than homework and many more

Aright, I'll go first.
My favourite teacher has to be our math teacher. He became our math teacher last year. He was extremely good at teacher and didn't really scold us regarding anything, if he's trying to explain something and we talk, that were the only times he used to tell us to not talk.
He even used to tell some of the poetries he wrote. Except the poetries, he used to tell stories about our mythology that were extremely fun.
The best thing was he used to take us to play in the school ground. Usually teachers didn't do that because "you have to study" and all that but he wasnt that type. He took us to the school ground and we could play different things. Whenever we played a game in which the entire class was involved, he joined in.
