Hello everyone in the first meeting of... Whatever this group exactly supposed to be
I've decided to invite you because of our shared passion about complaining about Bayverse and discussions about how it could and should be fixed
When you chat so much about something so much, suddenly story start to write itself
So for now I have to options: Either rewrite AOE/TLK (I want mostly to rewrite TLK - cause it's easier, but skipping AOE feels kinda illogical) or just to start AU
But again - not sure if starting AU as your first writing experience is good idea
Also, both my english and social skills ain't good enough to write dialoques
But I have a clever idea
Perhaps I could introduce my vision of AU in a form of design document?
But perhaps we should start with AOE rewrite
How about it will start with narrative provied by... Harold Attinger?
Dude's motives are never really explained, and that's a huge waste
It's like he is such xenophobic duche so the movie could happen
So the first thing to do is to give him a proper goals and motives - show them, explain them and make them important for the story
Attinger was running operation in Chicago the time it was attacked, lost many men there only for Autobots to get all the credit
He could also find Optimus's resolve to selve mankind - even at the cost of his own race as act of madness
For him, Optimus Prime and his team are bunch of wild cards with no clear goal and questionable judgement in general
and that makes them dangerous

Funny how both in my rewrtie and AU Bee is a deadman
In AOE rewrite he will be one of casualties of Cementary Wind
While in AU, he will be killed relatively early after arrival on Earth
Optimus will basically do the same thing he id in Allignes Continuy and separate bots under his command into two teams - one is ready to take on Decepticons, while other still have much to learn
Bee will find himself in "2nd bracket" bs, and will want to prove himself
He will sneak around to face some Decepticons alone
only to be eaten alive by some Decepticons Brute

To add extra insult to injury, Bee was taken care off by either a member of Decepticon mining operation or some criminal fugitive

I was thinking about bringing back Ransack and Crumplezone as starting villains
They propably need third guy - the one that actually have no-nonsense villain kind of personality
Perhaps Cy-Kill could be a leader of the trio
This way we could have a "biker gang"
Never realized how hard it it to find Motorcycle Decepticons - at least the ones with potential to be interesting characters
Especially if we re talking about characters named like "Mohawk" "Lugnutz" or "Oil Slick"
That moment you realize that Beast Machines Thrust, Ransack and Crumplezone are literally the best Motorcycle cons in the entire 40 years old history of franchise

What do you think about potential Autobot starting team of: Optimus Prime (duh), Ratchet (medic, Prime's adjutant, 2nd in command), Wheeljack (mechanic, gadget guy), Blaster (communication officer) and Hot Rod (Scout)?
Also Cup as 6th Ranger/Optimus Prime's mentor

I want Optimus to be younger, less experienced and in general more arrogant and reckless
But him saving Kup (and risking life while doing so) could be nice way to show his hero potential

What makes my take unique is that I want remove Prime iconic patience and humility

Also, I would love to deconstruct the idea that Autobot team are true companions
They will be... Eventually
At first, nobody will have high hopes about Optimus's leader ship
Before Optimus got his own ship, he launched multiple Cybertronian relicts into deep space
But Alpha Trion believed that he did a right thing and decided to make Optimus leader of his own scientific expedition
Too bad that for his crew, this is nothing but blatant nepotism

To make Team Prime more equipped to deal with Decepticon Heavy Hitters, Ironhide and Bulkhead will join the team relatively soon

Bulkhead for close cuarters/tanking heavy fire, Ironhide for deashing out damage on long range

A lot of speculation is there around the original 5 that came there
And some others
They say that ironhide was supposed to be trailbreaker, who he resembles a lot
But they changed it to make the name more recognizable

Trailbreaker got terrible luck - In Cybertron they used Overhaul Instead of him, and in movie he was replaced by Ironhide
I say they could go with Trailbreaker, as Bayverse could use more defensive Bots
Ironhide dodging Brawl's barrage is iconic though
I even considered Landmine as Big Guy of Autobot team
Dude supposed be around 2 heads taller than Optimus
But again - since Team Prime should face at first low rank cons, Optimus will play the role of big guy at first
His lack of experience will at first be compensated by the fact that he can hit like... Well like a truck
