okay so I'm all for BSing oddly effective bootleg solutions

So in order to avoid using the glue strip on the back of the LEDs, I want to use pushpins or thumbtacks to pin them to the ceiling

But not with the tack THROUGH the LED strip, more like using the plastic head to trap it against the ceiling

And my mum thinks it's gonna be ugly or discolour the wall or whatever

And she's literally factually incorrect in all her assumptions and shit
