Installation: Open launcher -> Open Install Directory - drop the sounds folder from the archive into that directory.
Then
Ingame: Options -> Notifications -> switch the announcer to old_allison
Just keep in mind: The voice lines are outdated, and all the new notifications are missing.

Newest update works and is awesome. I cheated and played the rare voicelines manually, instead of waiting for them to organically pick in-game.
