There is a big disconnect between newer players, or people who are more casual oriented playing maybe 1 or 2 games every few days and people who are grinders, and play the game daily or have been playing for a few years. As someone who generally grinds and plays often, I could not careless about a resign vote going off 90% of the time(yes there are times when even I throw my hands up in disgust screaming "WHAT DO YOU MEAN OMG WINNABLE" at my monitor as well). However, even if I still feel its winnable, even if I am literally making a game state changing push.... it doesn't matter. WE GO NEXT, not because we CANT win but because I intend on playing for the next several hours, and more games is more OS is more starts, is a healthier lobby, and at high OS when you are used to games going for 12-18 minutes you just really dgaf most of the time. Conversely some poor soul who only gets on every few nights a week, has time for 1-2 games, is kinda slower to get to end game in general, does proly get HYPER pissed when the moment they have been building towards for over 30minutes suddenly gets yoinked away by a resign vote, when they are sitting on 40 shivas about to push acting all confused as to why their team gave up. I would think most people would agree this is the general polar dynamic for players in a lobby, the current system requires 80% of a team to resign. The suggestion is to remove the right of the very large majority to end a game for the sake of a single person....and not just that, but remove ALL VOTES once a game is in progress the reasoning for which I am assuming is so the lobby can't just KICK the person refusing to resign and move on with their day...and we are asked to do that...for the sake of Little Timmy? You want to kill lobbies, hold people hostage in game, disable all votes in a lobby, for LITTLE TIMMY??? This does not seem logical, reasonable or sustainable IMO. In fact the game has actually moved in the direction of making things overall more friendly to resign, as you no longer lose OS automatically on a resign, if your team wins you still get credit for that win, this was a recentish change compared to the past where a resign meant you lost OS either way. So not only are you asking for a massive change in peoples access to moderate thier lobby experience you are asking the game to kinda reverse course on the direction its currently going and to more or less abandon some of its CoC rules towards not delaying games....
