It seems like setting an AI opponent in a server to Random causes the game to crash with an access violation and the Spring process stopping.

I reported a Github issue related to this here https://github.com/beyond-all-reason/Beyond-All-Reason/issues/5236

This is quite niche crash because this requires two conditions:

  1. You have to start a multiplayer lobby and
  2. You have to have at least one Barbarian AI set to random faction.

did you have legion enabled?

in that case you need to make sure all ai are hard aggresive profile, mixing profiles will cause issues
