There was a game today on Supreme Isthmus where a commander wreck disappeared after death. It occurred at around 3 minutes near the frontline, where red player was encircled by pawns and killed. Afterwards, there was no com wreck, which was quite weird.

#Commander wreck disappears

heya, i seen the replay already thanks to @gentle cedar
the commander dgunned his own corpse
not sure on anyone's stance on this but the easiest solution that can be done easily is delay commander death by a few ms so that the dgun may move away,
but this might interfere with chain reacts damaging corpses

I mean, that's funny. Not sure if that needs to be fixed.
it would be funny if people could figure it out easily, not needing a frame by frame analysis of straing into the insides of a nuke
i don't want to test 19 animation files
From my perspective making com wreck invincible for a bit might be the easiest way. However I don't know the way the Bar event loop works and how hard it actually is.
it would mean identifying a com wreck when it spawns, adding it to a table, and removing it from a table
Sounds rough
good news: making commander wrecks briefly immune to chains won't actually change anything
bad news: I don't think it's supposed to work like that already
did you self d them all or just teh middle one?
just the middle one
are you sure the dgun killing the wreck is actually what happened?
you can go have fun watching the replay
it happens 3 minutes in
i was confused on what i was hearing until it hit me that it was the dgun sound
you'll hear a chain of explosions when the corpse disapears
less about watching and more about listening to the callins, it's a 5 minute job that will take me 30 minutes, and maybe you've already done that
-# food time, be back soon™️
yep
welp, I'm out of ideas
so if I am reading this right, it was dgunning within 3 1-hundreths of a second of death caused the wreck to get hit by dgun. that's insnae timing and probably why Ive only seen it happen once out of thousands of games
i estimate that there is about a 5+/- frame window during which the dgun is in range
this doesn't account for commander needing to die and spawn a wreck
and the unit probably can't fire on the frame it died, so it might be as small as 3 frames
