You can give the AI's a resource income bonus, which makes them harder. You do it in the lobby. In Skirmish you can just right-click and apply some bonus, but online there is also a command to do it. Don't remember exactly what it is, something like setallaibonus 50.

Barb Aggressive is not strictly speaking more difficult than Hard, it's just more aggressive. It has worse economy and will be weaker by 50min

at the begin, defending is necessary, until 20 minutes, then long range turrets keeps them far, and a 35-40 minutes, we attack. we dont use nuclear weapons, and epic fly ( its too cheated)

well, there you go, you have some options to make it more difficult. Reduce your own bonus, or try a different map
