Crash Report, Scavenger Game

Hi i upload my Crash report here, its from a Scavenger vs AI Game. I experimented with the AI a bit. Out of nowhere midgame the game crashed:

Seems related to the new Legion T2 metal extractor that has assist turret attached to it

I have the same issue. Crash to desktop followed by Spring crash notification https://log.beyondallreason.dev/logs-20250406T1326-aXi2t0H7.zip

Never experienced crashing before on BAR, and it doesn't seem to happen when I play with a friend against Raptors or normal AI opponents.

does it happen even if it's a Scav game without any BARbarians?

this one was BARbarian crash as well

lamer is currently working on fixing that btw

but we will probably have to remove the new extractor for now

or at least hide it and make it not spawn

BARbarian is part of the engine and it cannot just be updated indepedently

Not sure as I've always added one or two BARbarian allies to help out against Scav. In this case it was just one AI teammate (Core faction) to help. I will test this out shortly and let you know 👍

yea BARbs really don't like the way these new extractors are spawned

i think he already narrowed down why

now he's figuring out what to do about it

worst case scenario we remove that extractor and make a rule not to add such hacky units anymore

Haha no worries, just means I'm gonna have to get extra sweaty facing Scavs on my own until it's fixed lol. or play against regular AI/Raptors. thanks for the quick reply!
