Giving ideas and suggestions on discord is really great in general and for the evolution of the game. However, a lot of the suggestions are made/read by people which are way more involved in the game than the average player, just by the fact they are doing the effort to post/read something on the discord of the game they play.
This is a very good thing, but it raises the problem of suggestions that can be added to the game without really considering what the silent mass of player that play the game (in general) think.
My suggestion is the following :
Since a new lobby interface is in development, let use this opportunity to add a community poll system which allow the devs to submit a suggestion during one week or two in game (in the menu for instance) to get the opinion of the active community as a whole about a suggestion.
IMO : Proposed suggestion should be chosen at the devs discretion, a useful tool.
(and maybe a player should have at least smth like 2 chevron to vote, to avoid spam and really uneducated vote. But it should not be locked behind the first silver chevron, we want the whole communities, the whole point is to have the majority of the players, from the one that play one time per week with his friends against AI to the one that is playing everyday and enjoy tournaments)
(This suggestion also allows involved player to be rewarded for their... well involvement... in the game development and community (since they are the source of suggestions) while ensuring that the changes are at least somewhat popular in the whole player base and not only in a reduced circle of involved player (which is once again, not a bad thing, at all but IMO, might be bad for the future of the game).
TDLR : for small balance change ok it's not usefull, but for changes that impact all the game experiences deeply, the suggestion is still pertinent IMO)
