Can I download a previous version of BAR so that all my saved games will work again?

I am new to this and apologies if the question has already been responded to, but I can't seem to get a clear answer.

I would like to download BAR version 271028aac82e which has been working beautifully up until the recent update which has rendered all my saved games inoperable.

I get the following msg and nothing ever happens. Ever after properly uninstalling and reinstalling.

Please help me.

Problem is likely with engine download, not game version download

So engine is being downloaded as rel2501.2025.01.3 by the launcher but the game is looking for 2025.01.3

I have tried updating from the launcher GUI, but doesn't seem to make a difference?

The saved game should have produced a corresponding replay, can you try watching that and seeing if it works?

Unfortunately I don't have any replays from the saved game after doing a clean re-install after everything stopped working. 😦

Okay, because that looks like the correct naming structure for the engine, I think you may have just saved the game during a transitionary period where we have been working out the problems relating to changing the name and version structure of the engine.

Can you post a screenshot of your /engine/ folder inside your Game Data folder, sorted by most recent?

Nevermind, you said you clean installed, so it actually makes sense why you don't have the old engine version anymore.
