Agreed, good idea, currently there is no other way to order a con to guard lab which is still "ghosted" I think
I dont think we have a guard command that can work on the ground in an area which could be queue'd after building the lab
Perhaps alternatively add a "guard area" command

I think 99% of the time if you dont have something qued up after the lab you want to guard the lab afterwards. Hence i think even in the base game it should be
if no que after lab -> guard lab
