Well it's not really just for you it's actually also for moderation they can actually even link your name
meaning instead of my name being Dujs 🗕 🗗 🗙 it would also have [Duxii} in game name

there's quite alot of ideas to this suggestion alone this is just a small fraction of what syncing discord/bar can do

On one hand I like the immersion it could bring to the community by linking the data, but on the other hand I really don't enjoy the elitism that is being projected onto a semi-arbitrary number/symbol, both in the game and what has been popping up in discussions on Discord.

People will be even more obsessed with their number. Which can lead to raging at noobs when they lose and that number goes down. Also people will just mono map as that is the easiest way to raise that number leading to less diversity in maps.
For the best players in BAR, we already know who they are as their names on discord are similar to their names in game. And if they choose not to use the same name, that means they want to remain anonymous.

Overall showing cheveron levels is very benefitial aswell
Ive ran a discord just like this with 10k users I know what I am saying we also linked in game levels to the game itself.

Well this isnt a player decision this is a discord moderation act and should take priority to ensure youre who you say you are
For instance if you join bar discord the mods need to know who you are and verifying through ingame and having permanent not changeable names is how we do it
