Right now, you get post game information about how many units you build. I'd like a simple tracker in the build menu for lets say a bot lab wherein the number of bots constructed is displayed.
I mostly play PVE and I love the idea of production tracking that assemblers and furnaces have in factorio. For BAR, I'd like to see a little incrementing number on the top left or right of a unit production building interface for the units itself as to how many units were built of which type. Shouldn't be too heavy on the system since its basically an incrementation and a label that is only shown when you click on the production facility, but it would be a really neat feature for those who play eco or front line PVE or even PVP and wonder just how well their strategy works by number in game versus post game.

I'm not the decision maker on this, but useless information like that is unlikely to get into main game ui.
Instead, try requesting this in #1160485949860483123. The ui in bar is made of widgets, and you can make custom ones to do all sorts of things, including what you're suggesting. It can then be used selectively by whoever wants that feature.

There is big-time 😠 about adding new UI clutter. You'd have to make a very compelling argument and maybe a mockup demonstration of how it would fit into the existing UI without being things more too terribly cluttered. (If you wanted it in the main game)

Pretty sure it wouldn't be a thing that you'd enable by default which is why I'd say its a nice to have rather than anything mandatory to begin with. I'll check out the widget section since its basically just that

But this one is actually not what I was talking about. The thing I was talking about is about units you built yourself. I'm not a fan of "helping mods" in somewhat competitive games, even if I don't play pvp or even ranked.

I don't think a widget for what you're talking about exists yet. The one I linked may be a good starting point to adapt and make one.
