#Add Damage Per Metal To The Statistics Panel

Isn't that just the efficient use of resources reward... I may be wrong!?
I thought efficiency award was for damage dealt/ damage taken.
I get the efficiency award a lot and I don't even know what it is.
Also, I don't like that the metal statistic includes the consumption of your own units (or friendly ones). Making and eating a T2 lab happens pretty regularly on Supreme and I don't think that sort of stuff should count towards metal produced.
That’s the micro award
I'm pretty sure Efficiency is how much metal you've destroyed divided by metal you've used
So if efficiency is 2.5 you destroyed 250% of the metal you yourself used
I know why wolf is asking for this, I was there lmao. I don't think we need another stat. You got both components required to calculate this already on there, so you could calculate it yourself after the game ends.
Statistics Panel:
- Damage efficiency is damage dealt / damage received
- Aggression level is logarithm of damage dealt / metal produced with some funky multipliers
In a way we already have what OP is asking.
P.S. I have not looked at the code of the awards, I don't know how they work. Btw lobby shows different award winners 😅
yes, lobby shows most resources, most damage, best damage efficiency
I didn't realize Aggression included metal produced in its calculation, though I suppose I should have. I dunno, I just feel that the Statistics screen could use some tweaks for clarity. IMO metal reclaimed should be separated from metal produced. And I still think damage dealt/metal produced would be a very useful statistic(without the difficult-to-judge obscurity of the Aggression mathematics) to have immediately available during a game. In the same vein, metal produced/game minute(or second) would be equally useful as an at-a-glance statistic. Again, an emphasis on reclaim needing to be separated from metal production for these statistics to be more meaningful.
can close this thread imo since we have Damage Per Metal at home
it's not like dmg per metal has any more inherent information in it than the agression statistic does
Well, it's more transparent and specific.
