i have 1060 too and it's alseep in BAR past the early game

due to sim taking over limiting the FPS

someone mentioned disabling windows defender for the BAR directory helped with performance, maybe its something along those lines if you're on windows?

Apparently BAR benefits a lot from having big CPU cache, the x3d Ryzens are absolutely OP and hold up even the super late game in 100FPS+, so maybe that is it

The threads have spare power but the memory isn't keeping up

i will ask again, have you checked if any single core is throttling when your fps drops as a lot of the game is single threaded. Many times people will see relatively low CPU usage and think that that's not the issue when in reality they have 1 core maxed out and causing them to lag
