I would like an in game ability to spectate as part of a team (including the team vision) with the intention of mentoring lobbies with the feature enabled. This would allow higher ranked mentors the ability to casually spectate matches and actively help the newbies with questions/strategies/experience.
Changes:
Mentors option in advanced settings (default off)
Join as Spectator/Mentor features
a. Join Team as Spectator granting a Spectator tag
b. Team(x) Spectator Group with a Join button.

I searched for Mentor and read through the various spectator topics... I don't see one that leans well towards the intention of mentors.
(The very first thing I did before writing the post was search up existing topics. If you see one that I missed, please link it.)
Back in the early spring days, If I was teaching a new player I could just share their commander with them. It made it easy to teach them and not unfair for the lobby. (Obviously the lobby was asked and it was ok with them.)

It’s not meant to be exclusive to the mentor group in any way
It was just pushed by the mentor group because of a need for this system

This feature is still available in recoil but is disabled for bar
It’s also worth noting that boss run lobbies of the past were much harder to do so than it is now. Which is also when those threads were made by the mentor group which I am in charge of
