A play Zero-k from time-to-time with 'Unit Level-Up' mod which basically inreases the rate of XP gain and provides added bonuses (even has a tech tree).

A simple option to control the rate of XP gain and the bonuses (x2, x5, x10, or just an edit box multiplier) would be nice. Shouldn't be much work.

you can try !bset experimentalxpgain 0.1~10
might not be maintained, since it hidden for a reason

I don't think you can use it in singleplayer without a dev environment, but in multiplayer just in the lobby chat
