5 e/sec while standing
20 e/sec while moving
3700e to produce
494 Vision range

It costs less than 1/4 of the E of a Core spy bot and only 1/5 of the E to cloak while moving. It has next to the same vision range and much more HP. Sure Armada may have advantages in cloaking but this is too cheap.

I don't think that there's a way to nerf Gremlins as scouts without also nerfing them in their role as cloaked raiders.

This might be one of those cases where we have to accept that Armada is just more powerful in that area.

Gremlin cannot mass stop a push with an emp bomb
Plus spybots have significantly better handling than the gremlin

So this is fine?

Let's put it another way:
It only costs 1,5 times the energy of a lasher.

And a lasher handles worse.

Gremlins do not have a self d capability
They either use a gun or just provide vission
Spybots have a self d capability
Can reclaim
Have extremely good mobility
And provide vission

So what is the tax for this tank to not spam it out in combination with Mausers?
It costs less e to cloak this tank than a Beholder.

While standing

You only get vission or a surprise attack option
You don’t have a defensive/offensive self d usecase for gremlin
Gremlin takes a number of shots to kill stuff and a single nano is enough to hard counter gremlins

#

Plus gremlins cannot go into the same spaces that a spybot can go to

Let's see:
The fact that the Gremlin is undetectable while standing still, just like a Beholder and that it isn't Juno able is a reason to reduce the cloaking cost to 5 in letters five.

#

And the fact that the countermeasure is behind a pay wall in form of a T2 con and that the countermeasure costs multiple times as much, makes the argument a bit odd.

I can't remember when I last saw a detector earlier than a gremlin. I am sure there are cases, but here we should talk about probabilities.

they could have some stats buffed and get a cost increase. that would nerf them as a scout, without necesarily nerfing them as raiders. give 'em the ol' quakerino.
