when trying to login i get the message attached
Solution: Delete the data folder in either
~/.var/app/info.beyondallreason.bar/ (flatpak)
~/Documents/Beyond-All-Reason (AUR)

I have no clue how did you get game version that still references it

Where did you got installer from? Make sure you use latest from the website and have updates enabled in it.

i got it from both AUR and flatpak. both seem up to date .
also did delete the ~/.config/Beyond-All-Reason/ but the game still remembered the login details. I there is another config somewhere?

ah, a fellow arch user in the wild

so on my machine despite the AUR install the game is actually unpacked into ~/Documents/Beyond-All-Reason

That's the game though, I'm not sure if this isn't launcher-side...

ok deleting the data folder in documents helped
