Installed BAR via flatpak using the instructions on site. App crashed after downloading updates.

Any ideas at fixing? Or should I give up flatpak and try Appimage instead?

This is weird, there isn't really any stacktrace.
You have only 8GiB of ram, but that should not be a problem to at least load the game
I've never seen such issue, I doubt it's related to flatpak, but let's try appimage just in case

Sure thing. The errors don't match one to one but the behaviour is similar to mine.
Some apps have slow startup with fontconfig warnings
Skype installed via snap throwing fontconfig errors
Errors popping up when launching Chrome installed via snap : this one runs the specific version of the fontconfig package I'm running.
