#Crash out of nowhere

This is also a reason why the 'player who has left gets 0 points on victory' is broken, as I was instrumental, but effectively kicked from game. I am rejoining but will probably never catch up
Games should also have 'snapshots' say every 10 minutes that a player can resume from, rather than having to replay every single move from the beginning of time
https://log.beyondallreason.dev/logs-20230726T1140-CKPct9iU.zip another crash too. "Spring failed with code 3489660927"
My windows crashdump folder has no less than 4 different Spring.exe.dumps at 1.1gb a piece. Is this digital litter of any use to anyone?
Does information about those show up in the Windows Event Viewer? Could be useful
There's a couple of crashes in these logs, one of these is an ECONNRESET, the other is more concerning
howso?
I can check but no idea how I'd tie crash to time
Null spam indicates hardware failure outside of the game
nice?
Your Nvidia graphics drivers are a bit out of date, I would first try updating those
if you've managed to make BAR trigger hardware faults then ... that's certainly something
well, they rarely change -that- much, it's often just trying to make the latest games run slightly better (at expense of others)
I'll try just as sanity check though
I would also try going ingame and setting Vsync to Enabled/On rather than Adaptive
thought vsync was best off for BAR, and adaptive is 'best effort' essentially?
Disable any third party overlays that could be running like Geforce Experience/Xbox
why do you say that (overlays I don't use, don't worry)
Off is the "most performant", On is "most stable", Adaptive may be less stable as it depends on newer vsync tech like gsync/fsync
Past reports of disabling Nvidia overlay solving crashes
I mention XBox becuase I know it comes with windows
I don't use it so unless it still being installed is an issue?
For Xbox I think you can check with Win + G keys to see if it's active
