tight matrix

the only straight icon would be ok to be warned

fair thorn
#

it is also called Strait, not Straight

I would advocate for using this specific icon: 🦞

lilac pawn
fair thorn

the worst

Personally I think the idea of map mini icons could be great in general, but shows a favorite map based on what they've played on most. Might offer more interest in maps otherwise not seen as well.

what's telling is how high the percentage of matches played on strait is

tight matrix

and personally im afraid of noobs around 30 OS that come from these lobbies, cuz idk what to expect from them

#

they can lose their front really fast even to 20 OS lobster guy

#

it's the real problem imo

I was explaining why the suggestion i replied to wouldn't work. Iirc a decent chunk of people who mainly play in non-strait non-atg lobbies still stop by other lobbies sometimes, and end up with something like 25% of matches played on strait while everything else from the pool of good maps rotates in good lobbies, so the rest is <20% and their "favorite map" would still be strait. A "warning icon" would need to be for something like 50%+. To make the "favorite map" idea work, strait and atg would need to be weighted something like half or 1/3 as heavily as other maps

I know. I was explaining why the original suggestion is probably the only way this would work, rather than the idea of showing everyone's favorite map.

tight matrix

which has 75% games on glitters and straits

#

and doesn't have even 50% winrate on that XD

i've been agreeing with you this whole time, but having a higher winrate on maps that aren't strait or atg means they're undervalued/OP in non-strait non-atg maps, unless it's just luck that the winrate is 10% higher when not playing those maps

Op map variety

Still has atg tied for most played map though

That's because i was also a noob at some point

#

(and many people would still consider me a noob with a total of 105 games)

#

Just have the badge be for most played map regardless, then if you have it for another map other than strait or glittera it's like a badge of honor

i've been a naval enjoyer for a long time, and i'm stuck playing strait if i want my fix of navy (even if strong navy spawn on strait is pure pain for cortex)

There's the new map by nikuksis if you haven't tried it out

honest tendon
#

that doesn't get rid of my 66 out of 275 matches on strait :p

#

the sad life of a cor player nowadays...my brief stint playing arm at the start of the season put me at the highest OS i've ever had, and i started tanking as soon as i went back to cor

Unsure, haven't played it myself

#

We did a match on it during tha navy clinic

It's a pretty good navy map. The back land spawns help appease people who normally never play water, as well.
