Way more damage and AoE but slower fire rate, same damage to shields.

Idea behinds: Gives better 'surprise' effect for bursting down important structures before a shield pops up.
AoE to help zoning the enemy.

It's been brought up before, but the shells end up spending inordinately long in the air

Probably due to the fact the LRPC projectiles themselves are shot at high speeds

they'd likely also be really innacurate offsetting the advantages nicely

Tremor has been hitting the gym HARD and evolved to it's final form!

Would really affect balance tho cause part of the defense of LRPC is that they have to be placed in such a way that theyre exposed enough to be attacked, and having them be able to hide behind terrain would make them significantly more powerful

I had a kinda fun game a week ago or so where we cranked unit ranged to x5- first off, this was just a hilarious light show (since we also turned damage to x0.2) and we all started making Tremors and attack-grounding "at" the enemy

their spread ended up being wider than the map (Valles Marineris) so it was just a gentle rain over everything

That's fine, LRPCs are really bad atm.
