Happened in Day9's stream where someone disconnected before gane start and they had to relob. Would be nice if we could substitute someone of a similar TS, so long as it was voted upon

also doesnt really work if the match is already underway (since theyd basically have had spec cheats), and even if you only sub out during the place period, you would technically have an advantage from being able to see where the other team went?
maybe if specs (or at least, specs in join queue) cant see where people place until match starts? probably some other issues as well

so the issue with the current sub system
is taht its possible to have someone go AFK
but actually be there in the match
this has happened a number of times during matches
as they were essentially a 9v8
with 8v8 commanders

SUBS are second class players on top of that
as they cannot give units
nor can they resign

Prompting your strongest player to /take is a much less problematic alternative and it's most likely a boost to your win chance 😉
