Hello, im getting igpu performance on the deck. As the game passes the fps drop to unplayable. Tbh this thing runs cyberpunk and other aaa, and struggles with BAR. Something is amiss. Ive got a desktop with i5 4570k 8gb ram and 6gb 2060 and im getting constant +100fps on 1080p. Deck has more ram better cpu and still struggles on lower resolutions. Please advise.

Well, you definitely would like to turn off some GPU rendered stuff, so start with sensor range rings, these can get pretty heavy later in the game

I had the game installed from discover. Flatpack runs from desktop mode after making it executable, doesnt run in game mode. Please advise on above

Sorry to necro to this, but for anyone else that comes along: I found the Steam Deck’s performance very good through much of the end of 2023 and into 2024, but I’ve recently found that performance has gotten much worse. As a game goes on (single player against a Simple AI) the performance gets worse and worse, to the point that there’s long delays between units taking actions, animations playing, mouse movement, etc. I wonder if anyone else has noticed a performance drop with the recent releases (~ last 4-5 months)?

havent noticed a big difference in recent months, playing 8v8 multiplayer. it becomes an issue in late game when a lot of unit spam becomes active, but thats a general framedrop and the simulation cant keep up, nothing specific like mouse movements or something similar.
