dunno if it's an engine thing or a chobby thing, but last few times I've launched chobby it does this archive scanning thing for 3-5 mins before loading

Are you constantly deleting the cache folder ?

Engine needs to build cache which is what that process is

The cache should only be building when ever there is a new engine release
Or on first install
Or if cache doesn’t exist
