I think it would be way better if the AI would leave some space or for example replace 4 Metal Extractors with a Advanced one instead of spamming everything. After 40 min of playing the fps are dropping from 200+ to around 25-50 and that's with just two 'easy' AI.

Simple AI is by definition, not smart
try the Barbarian AI (start on easy, they're not bad) and see if that makes things work more to your liking

Thanks guess will give it a try, still need to figure out a good way to start but can't even move my Units through all the Buildings so might as well restart...
