Could you also just in case upload last few files from logs folder in install directory? (Files named infolog with date). I want to make sure that the logs you shared contain all they should (this was changed very recently).
Perfect, thank you!
game reminds me a lot of total anihilation/supreme comander so would be nice to test it
sorry for trouble, could you open file springsettings.cfg and add line e.g. at the end new line with LogFlushLevel = 0 ? Then run the game, let it crash, and send logs again? Looks like because of weir nature of the crash, logs above don't contain information just before the crash, and this might help us get this information to see what is the issue
not fully get it
what i should add and where
meybe beter add it and send me changed file to repleace my
then i run game and send log couse not shure what i should change
should i add e.g after 0 or where?
here ?
does not respond
usualy wait couple mins then i click it to close
@supple ether Press start match and wait, don't click anything or else Windows goes "this program is not responding, better kill it"
If you see that "program is not responding" white screen, it's already dead.
Any next launch after successful one with this freeze should load normally.
Yeah and during that freeze you're supposed to not touch anything or this happens.
for how long
For me usually takes about 3-4 minutes, can take way longer on slower drive and/or if antivirus is actively scanning the loaded files
Wow it worked it did take like 3 mins before loading screan showed up 🤣 gess need more ram meybe put it on ssd C insted of D drive
To be fair engine looks a lot like supreme comander but game is a lot like total anihilation
But still the loading screan should be waiting time not big lag betwen klicking start and loading screan 🤪🤣
i just got that error.
that's .. too long. oO
It really should be and this is obviously a bug. Bug that nobody here knows how to deal with.
Well its alpha so its expected its powible it trays to load to many things at the same moment insted doing 1 after another
My suggestion was to delay launch by half second and pop up a message before that so it stays on screen during the freeze
But idk if that can be done
Not ideal solution but at least would make people figure out that they just need to wait
Because we get many reports like this, and i bet we get even more people who don't ask for help and just give up
@modern dune @full lake @cold crane do you guys think anything like this can be done for now?
I think next engine will handle this more gracefully
And I dont know what triggers an archivescanner run
if luaintro is even active at that point
I mean do it on chobby end BEFORE it freezes
Zero-K does not have this problem for whatever reason
I can click spam during first time map load and do not get a Program Unresponsive detection
BAR run through steam still has this issue
I can also trigger it by click spamming during the Skirmish AI stage of luaintro loading
I'm also having similar problem here with the exact same message
After the login if I click anything the game immediatly freezes and crashes
Does anyone know what I should do?
Never mind, waiting couple minutes fixed it
Please post an infolog.txt after such a login
Im very curious
The error doesn't happen anymore, things are going smoothly now
i solved this same error code by updating to the newest AMD drivers. I had previously been using an older 2022 driver version to fix graphics issues with my RX 570.
Could you please provide an exact version number of the new drivers? AMD seems to come out with new ones on quite the regular pace
problem came back, wasn't fixed like i thought
Disable windows Multiplane Overlay (MPO)
and make sure the adrenaline software is always oppen in the background when playing
then either use the last adrenaline driver version or last pro driver version.
dumno if that will fix it, but that method does mitigate driver crash while playing.
maybe it'll do something for you too?
thank you, i will try that when i get home
Having a similar problem. Starting Bars opens a white screen that freezes. I didn't have any problems before the latest patch. The error message is: Spring failed with code 3489660927 https://bar-infologs.s3.eu-central-1.amazonaws.com/spring-launcher-logs-20230329T204149563.zip

Perhaps that stacktrace beneath the access violation will be more readable to someone else
actually, something else stands out for me

Some kind of Alienware dlls keep appearing in the stacktrace
anticheat?
AlienwareSoundCenter
sounds like headphones/speakers software
Maybe some overlay from that is acting up with this engine?
I reverted to june 2022 amd drivers for radeon rx 570, and disabled the MPO as you suggested.
So far so good. no crashes and performance issues are gone. For now it appears to be working great with no graphical issues either.
Here's another instance of that dll appearing in a stacktrace. This time it was identified as a likely component of Alienware Command Center.
Uninstalling Alienware Command Center Seems to have fixed it--for now at least
