You have a pretty good setup. I'd switch the last vine with black hole and put ransei next to black hole. Then when the target pt gets too high, you can put ransei next to burdened again, but only on the last tiles, so black hole scles more

You only maybe need coins at the very end, around ex50 with that setup probably to exchange for han multipliers, but wont increase the score by too much. Best 2 are probably gaming pro and souls summon, though I'm not sure with that setup.

You are kind of right, that black hole and vines dont combine well together. With dupe setup, synnergies are followed more strongly. The problem is, without duping, you don't have that good options for synnergistical talisman, so you either have to run this setup, or a 5 vine setup without universal pull. But because burdened has a cap at e13, your setup is probably a bit higher potential compared to 5 vines without dupes, as with exchanging, black hole is better by quite a bit compared to vines.

yeah im not duping, trying to not exchange as much as possible except for when i have a really bad starting hand and the open tiles arent helping, then ill switch for that 1 level to be safe

wait if burdened is capped at e13 that means afterwards you should always excahnge?

well, you can and it doesnt hurt burdened. That means you should, to get more wins with black hole

i was using ransei on burdened with no black hole between like ex6 and ex16, and even after i got it back i forgot to switch it back on a few levels, so prob could have done better

yeah, e70 is quite possible, but to go way further, you need dupes

it's when it displays 9.007e15 but the actual multiplier is 9e13 x. it takes 55 levels to max out

When I had burdened sclaed higher than necessary, it showed 9.007e13.
I think, someone calculated that it probably comes from 9.007e15 in the backend, but I'm pretty sure, the actual display when scaling it further than necessary is with e13.
Maybe I should have restarted and then it would have shown e15? I donno...

maybe they fixed it in the newest patch? the number comes from 2^53 /100, the double precision limit but stored as a percent. it's in general very buggy and it was sometimes displayed e16 before jumping back down to 9e15

yeah, it wrapped back to e12 2 times, when I had it. But yeah, maybe they patched some things about it, trying to remove the cap maybe...

yeah, i think it depends on mobile/pc version. one of them i see 9e13, the other i see 9e15, but the effect of max burdened is always 9e13

this is the position i'm in at the moment, trying to think what will keep things going the longest. maybe i swap out the Soul Summon for Hibiki here? i'd be reluctant to take out Vines+ since it's also providing scaling and also the 5x per sou tile. the Burdeneds are at 500k and 25k, still a while to max out. the Soul Summon is at +1025 and x513.

gonna have to try to math things out. i have a hard time abstracting out the probabilistic nature of the sou scaling though

at this point in the game i'm thinking it's going to hurt too much to take anything away. i think i'm around Ex30 or so rn? i forget the stage number. but i'll keep messing around in a spreadsheet and see if there's a scenario that makes the scaling justifiable. right now the sou tiles are at a point where i can just keep one Ransei on Black Hole+ and one one the best Burdened and make the clear requirement with skip+chiitoi

stopped/started recording to check, it was Ex30 cleared last. and on Ex29, the sou values ranged from 1e8 to 9e11

unless i'm off-base, it seems like being able to scale out sou better w/ Hibiki and swapping to 2x ransei 2x burdened should still secure stage clears, so maybe that's the play?

this run has been kind of a jumble, sometimes i've had hibiki and/or haruna, but i think only ever had the one vine and the ransei on black hole, and had to sort of swap things around to get the duplication to go off. i can't remember when i ended up with the Soul Summon and maybe it would have been preferable to have Hibiki back in play sooner, but i think at the time i was kinda scrounging to get dupes off to make this run stay afloat anyhow

Hibiki would have been very good earlier in the run and I suppose that at Ex30 you still have enough rounds to go that it would be worth swapping back in instead of the Vine. If you have a Ransei on Black Hole that's like having 2 black holes, and then Hibiki is worth about 2 more black holes. The Vines+ on its own is not as impactful for scaling. Soul Summon doesn't scale well, but it is at a point where it's better to keep it over the Vine.

if you want to do some math, you can simplify the randomness of the black hole by imagining that for each black hole proc, the scaling is evenly spread over the 9 sou tiles, so if one black hole proc scales a sou tile by a factor 1.1, then you can take a fractional exponent and say that on average all sou tiles are scaled by 1.1^(1/9), and it takes 9 procs to get all tiles scaled by a factor 1.1
now what Hibiki does is change this base 1.1 factor into 1.2, and Hibiki+ makes it 1.25, so since 1.25 > 1.1² Hibiki+ is effectively giving you more than twice as many procs as you had without it

if you're doing math, do it in log scale. multiplication becomes addition and life is so much better.

What setup do you go for? You cant just “randomly buy strong seeming talisman” hoping for a good setup 😉 with this, you can probably go for one of the standard nondupingvsetups. So sell a bean, get hibiki but also sell a bean for burdened

How to do FlipSkip

1. Get a winning total score on the current level.
2. Click the top left "Back" button
3. Click "Continue" to go back to the game.
   You will be directed to the shop and all actions that should have happened (e.g. PT increase due to a future tile) indeed occurred. This can save around 2-4 seconds per tile flip depending on your click speed (If you have many tiles left with universal wait, this can thus save over a minute per level) which can accumulate to around over an hour per run in total.

Gaming pro and soulslike ard quite bad early game. In general, make sure, you have a setup, you want to go for. Gaming pro and soulslike shouldnt be a part of it 😉 (late game yes, but not for main setup)

With the talisman you already have and for simplicities sake, Id go for a setup like this:

up, shadowclone, black hole, hibiki, haruna, 2 vines, burdened. Burdened needs to scale for 55 rounds, then you can exchange again

But this is just for simplicities sake, best setup requires you to be a bit more experienced probably (lots of dupes, switchups and early star scaling)

Ye, no need to get rid of smth now, but might just aswell get rid of soulslike and gaming pro tbh, they will not really help you that much longterm, if you go for a real setup
