basically in the same boat as many others, I've already read the steam community posts, reddit posts, and other complete arsenal posts in this channel

equipped everything 3 times, switched shining/shadow back and forth 3 times, switched curse/poison brand multiple times, and tried equipping full inventories of different combinations of shadow/shining curse/poison

gonna type out my inventory list again because the original message got deleted

Have you tried cycling out the Brittle Arming Sword at all? That may do it.
Also, have you at any point found the Hammer of Cruelty? You don't have to have it in your inventory but I believe you have to have picked it up at least once.

yes I equipped the hammer of cruelty before giving it to hound knight, and I enhanced death scythe; I'll try brittle arming right now thank you

have you found the cavalry saber yet? I dont think it counts for the achiv but it might be worth finding just to be sure
