Hold Key to Skip progress bar behaves normally, but does not skip intro cutscene, and the game doesn't progress to character creation afterwards, simply displays the last shot of the cutscene indefinitely.

How To Downpatch ELDEN RING Back To a Previous Version

It works the same way for every game but with lunacid you'll be replacing the Lunacid Data folder and Lunacid.exe in the files.

Just open steam console and paste the string I posted

And turn off auto updates.

Thanks, will try this later today. Although, someone with the same problem on Reddit managed to downpatch the game to this version of the link and it didn't fix the problem for him.

I'm sure it works though since saves are compatible between updates you might just be able to make a bunch of saves on 1.04 and then back them up on your desktop then patch up back to 1.05
