Trying To Setup A New Reaction Role.

I am trying to setup a new reaction role , I have given the RR bot the necessary permissions but I am facing this issue:

It must have sent messages and embedded links permissions in the channel you used /new-reaction-role.

I choosed my # roles-setup channel for setting it up

I want to set this message up , whenever a person reacts 1️⃣2️⃣3️⃣4️⃣ Users can get these roles from the message

it means the bot cannot sent messages in the channel where you used /new-reaction-role. So for now make sure you have the following set:

• For the channel you used /new-reaction-role:
  • Make sure the bot has the following permissions: Send Messages, Embedded Links, Manage Messages
• For the channel with the message (Channel you use Use Custom Message)
  • Make sure the bot has the following permissions: Add Reactions, View Message History

The alternative way if you are confused and don't want to tinker with permissions is to give the bot the Administrator permission. For this goto your server settings, roles, reaction roles and give the permission there. This permission will give the bot full access to your server.

I will double check my settings , and is it safe to give the bot Administrator Permissions..?

for most bots I would say it is generally safe. As long the bot is in a lot of servers I would say it is.
When bots are in not that many servers I wouldn't.
That being said, just know the risk.

Yes it's the same channel I have given permissions in channel too and bot the permissions too

as long the bot has manage roles permissions in there it should be good.

Can you try the setup again? All your permissions seems to be good.
