#Why waters disappear?

this belongs more to #🧠learn-core or #🔥tips-and-tricks but my first assumption is that you use a plane, if you use a cube this should work well
okay thank you :)
What you need to do (that nobody but me, I think, will tell you) is to put a water "table" on top of your water volume. Take a cube, expand X and Y to cover your water (and dig into your terrain), minimize Y to .1, then force collision off and add a water material. Place your water table directly on top of your water volume (hard to get it just right!) so that there is no water distortion above the water table. Then when you swim and look up, you'll see light dancing on the surface of your water (as well as foam, etc.). This is what swimming and looking up at the top of the water looks like in real life. My son who showed me this trick had to prove it to me by pulling up some videos of people swimming in a pool).
Hahah thank you appreciate it I'll try that
Well, here we need to ask
What object is your water? Is the Water Volume? If so, this is just some effects for the camera and what Viewpoints is talking about. Then you would need to create a cube, with mater material, without collision (just as @potent oasis said) except it is really easy.
