Find a pencil image and use a Layer Mask to mask out the portions of the pencil where it would be covered by the hand.
Where is the layer mask option
At the bottom of the Layers Panel
sorry I am new to this
which button exactly
there are like 20
Window > Layers...
It doesn't happen automatically, you have to paint on it...
Well... that's a completely different issue.
do I need to defrag?
how full is your SSD/hard drive?
that's way too full
I'm surprised your system is working normally. you should free up some space, if at all possible
yeah, better. now Photoshop should not throw the disk error. personally, I try to keep about 100 GB free from my C: drive. If you have a secondary drive or external drive, see if you can offload some files to there
will defrag help? @ocean socket
unlikely. defragmentation just helps with speed and only if it is an actual spinning hard drive and not an SSD. Trying to deframent SSDs will actually harm them
Alright
You might want to add a bit of shadow on the pencil to account for the hand... Just a suggestion.
Also, there is a white fringe of pixels around the entire hand that you may have to deal with. At least around the pencil area... @woven rapids
Alright
