The goal of this project was to create photo-realistic human characters using pixel generation, traditional photo-editing and image compositing techniques. More importantly, it was to bring the characters to life using keyframing and generative video tech.

Mission accomplished, and what a substiantial compilation. What did you mean by you creating keyframes in PS? As of now I can only imagine that means you edited the picture for what the movement would be at the end of the video and the video generator would make the filler inbetween.

Correct. You make two image frames (keyframes) and the AI will render the motion in-between. Then you glue them all together to make the sequence.
You can let it "imagine" certain things but its hit or miss and can go off the rails quickly depending on the subject and desired motion.
