HEY THERE! <@&967403015822794842> <@&967403013847257118>
Adobe Photoshop 2023 has just landed and here's the new features

Photoshop SELECTION IMPROVEMENTS
The Object Selection Tool got even better at detecting and making selections, like the sky, water, natural ground, plants, or architecture. Just hover over the object and click to make the selection.
You can further refine this selection in the Select and Mask workspace and perform other adjustments.

#

Photoshop ONE-CLICK DELETE AND FILL
With this release of Photoshop 24.0, you can easily remove objects from your images with the one-click Delete and Fill Selection feature and see Photoshop do its magic by seamlessly blending the background as if the object were never there.

To do so, make your selection with the Object Selection Tool and hit Shift + Delete key to instantly remove your selection. Also, while working with other Photoshop tools such as the Lasso Tool, you can right-click the mouse to access the contextual menu and select Delete and Fill Selection to remove your selection.

You can easily remove objects or people from your images or retouch them even when they have complex backgrounds.

#

<@&1223015794070388778> Hi everyone! Since the initial release of Generative Fill, we've heard many requests to integrate additional models to give users more choice and flexibility when editing. In today's update, we added Gemini 2.5 Flash Image (Nano Banana) and FLUX.1 Kontext [pro] to the latest build of Photoshop Beta.

**How do I access the new partner AI models? **
Gemini 2.5 Flash Image (Nano Banana) and FLUX.1 Kontext [pro] can be found in Photoshop Beta's Generative Fill workflow. Simply select the model you want to work with, describe the edits you want, then refine your results with Photoshop's layers, masks, and selections. All AI outputs are fully editable for complete creative control.

Who can use these? How much does it cost?
Partner AI models in Photoshop are available to everyone in beta for a limited time at no additional cost.

What about commercial safety?
We provide access to information on the partner models available in Adobe apps, but it is the responsibility of the creator to decide whether partner models are appropriate for their project taking into consideration factors such as the focus of the model, how it was trained, and whether or not it is safe for commercial use.

Will my content be used to train 3rd party models?
No. Just like with Firefly, your content will not be used to train generative AI models.

<@&1223015794070388778> The latest Photoshop update just dropped at Adobe MAX and here's a quick summary of the new additions.

Improved Generative Fill

We're introducing a new and improved Firefly Gen Fill model (in the beta) with increased detail and improved support for people and animals. We've also been actively working to reduce the number of false NSFW flags.

Generative Upscale, powered by Topaz

In addition to Firefly's own model, we're adding support for Topaz upscaling with 2 new options:

  • Topaz Gigapixel for precise upscaling
  • Topaz Bloom to add new, creative details

New adjustment layers

Earlier this year, we asked the community which new adjustment layers they'd like to see in Photoshop. Thanks to the feedback, we just shipped Temperature and Tint.

Harmonize improvements

After introducing Harmonize to the beta, we heard feedback that it's a bit to strong with people and in some lighting conditions. We've made tweaks to the model and it's now available in the public version of Photoshop.

New effects on iOS and web

For those using Photoshop on web and iOS, we're adding new effects to help you get started quickly. Offset poster print, Hazy daze, halftone, comic, and much more!

Unison: all handles move together when one is moved
Independent: each handle moves without impacting the other handles related to the anchor point.

This feature is even better when combined with the new color and opacity customization for warp guidelines that were shipped earlier this year. Now you can adjust them so they are easier to see against the color of your image. You can tailor other settings such as when and how many warp guides to display. This capability is located in the Options bar when Transform Warp is enabled. Also, the default behavior of the warp guide display is now set to Always Show Guides and the Density option is set to 2.
